Quick MP3 Player Question

Hi all. I bought a sansa clip mp3 player at Best Buy today. It seems like it would suit my needs, but it says on the box something about Windows Media Player. I do not have that at this moment. Does anyone know whether this is needed to put songs on the player? Thanks for all replies.
Edit: It says the Windows Media Player underneath the Minimum System Requirements.

You should have Windows Media Player as it's hard wired into windows . If it has a usb cable, then windows should pick it up and all you do is dump your MP3/WMA (WM player files) and should be set.

It's probably just the "Plays-For-Sure" logo. Ignore it if it is.
