Can't decide if I should get this at Toys or at Blockbuster. Got a bunch of BB trade-in credit but I can't pass up at money back. :p

A hell, don't think it'll be worth driving an hour to get there anyway. And even if BB doesn't get the game at the same time as others, that'll be fine.
 
The BB and FS sites say that the DS Kit (wuth the styluses and what not) come out on the 25th of November, oddly enough :/ And does the vinyl thing actually have a black background or is it clear and appears black because it's on a black DSL? If the latter, I will get it (I have a white one).
 
I think it comes out this week and the date on the sites are just an error. Not sure on the skin. I'm thinking of just going to Zellers, buying the game + skins and using the $10 off $50 coupon.
 
Bah...Game is in today at Best Buy but, the warehouse didn't get the hourglass yet so I have to call some number later to get it. At least it shall be mine!
 
Damn, just went out to BestBuy (I want the little Hourglass) and they're not selling PH yet. Their website says it's out on the 1st and they have stock at my local one (it said out of stock all yesterday). Instore their flyer shows it'll be in on the 3rd and their "Coming Soon" board says the 5th.

They need to cut some slack on street dates, it's not as if the game isn't already dumped and out there...
 
I'm curious to find out what that little hourglass is like. Hopefully better then that lame squirt gun I got with Super Mario Sunshine.
 
the hourglass is shit ... i saw it at work ... it's tiny small too ... and all it has is little bubbly gel like shit in it that goes from top to bottom....


not worth it at BB imo... and the best buy board is so vague.. last monthing everything in gaming was listed under "coming soon" this month it's all sept. 5...

Sand is too expensive now, huh? Thanks for the tip, I'll just get it at Future Shop with the credit note I have instead.
 
Got it at Future Shop today. Went during my break and couldn't find it on the shelf. Asked the employee and he said they'd just got it in and hadn't run it in the system yet. So a few minutes later I got it along with the free case.

I wish they gave us the Zelda DS pack ($20) instead. I shoulda just bought Zelda + the Zelda pack at Zellers and used the $10 off coupon.

I tried phoning them today and they think it might show up next week on Monday or Tuesday. I did get them to log my name and number and give me a call when it comes in, so hopefully I'll hear back.

I'm leaving my copy sealed till I get it. If I don't get it I'm retuning the game.
 
Just got confirmation that Blockster got the game in, well my nearest one anyway (no deal though). 39.99, not much of a deal but at least they don't assrape you by marking it up like they do with some games. Gonna be playing it in a few minutes. :D

I picked up mine last night. I can't see any shortages like the BB staff implied. When I grabbed mine they had a box that couldn't have had less than 100 of them in it (most likely more), and from what I saw I think they only got ~50 copies of the game. Plus the clerks were clueless about the promo, so I imagine a lot of buyers won't get the deal unless they ask.

I wanna go back in and get a second. They have lots and didn't think to mark my reciept showing the pickup :mrgreen:
