DL the demo of N3 and see for yourself. It's a decent game that builds on Dynasty Warriors style but doesn't really take it any farther. It does open up the genre to people who aren't interested in the Chinese feudal warfare plot though.
I'd recommend Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders for a truly stellar game in that subgenre though. It's from the makers of N3 and for the original Xbox, but was recently made BC. Still a great looking game.

N3 was not too horrible, just tons of horrible game design choices. It is actually a whole lot like Genji for the PS3.

I thought N3 was horrible and took the DW system in the wrong direction. It was bloody boring and never felt like fun; more like work.

I got N3 for free, and I felt ripped off.

You'll do 45 minutes worth of work, die, and have to start all over again.

I only played the demo of N3 but I actually liked it. However the full game might be a different story.

Also you might be able to turn around and ebay them if you don't like them and make a quick buck.

I just passed bulletwitch and it was worth the $13.50 for it but just enjoy its simple game desgn and you wont regret on getting it.

Whoa, how did you score Bullet Witch for only $13.50?

I got Bullet Witch for 15$ on Amazon, it's got a lot of flaws but it wasn't bad enough to not at least beat it. I'm trying to beat it again just for the hell of it. I just ordered N3...hopefully it isn't bad, some friends said it was alright. That was 15$.

N3's biggest flaw is definitely the lack of a checkpoint system followed by the horrid English voice acting. The combat system was actually far better than Dynasty warriors though. The problem was that Q ent framed it just like their puzzle games which didnt work for the type of game it was.

N3 actually probably deserves that avg score it got in the long run. Meanwhile games like Metroid Prime were just as horrid and get high marks.

I enjoyed N3 when I rented it. I ended up beating all the characters stories, getting all A ranks, and then playing through the game again to get all of the characters maxed out to get the last achievement.

I think for sure worth 25 I've enjoyed Bullet Witch I think it's a decent game just average , but for some reason I found some good fun qualities in it. You should deffeintly give it a try though.

With the $10 off any used 360 game coupon at gamestop and I used my edge card also.

Where is this $10 off any used 360 game coupon?

That was quite a few weeks ago, dude.

I forgot how much I paid for N3 when it came out but I think it was really cheap like $30 (for a new release). Its an alright game. I'm still working on the last achievement. Definitely a disapointment because I had high hopes for it before it came out.

I thought N3 was great. Lots of enemies and some levels would have huge amounts of enemies on screen at once which was fun. Like others mentioned earlier, the checkpoint system can be annoying but I thought most of the missions were pretty easy and only a few levels are actually long.

I'm hoping they make another one because I thought the gameplay and characters were far better than Koei's games.

That's a pretty ignorant statement. How much Metroid Prime have you actually played? I'd say not much.

I enjoyed N3 very much for the price (got it new for $30.) It's Dynasty Warriors fun without being stuck in feudal Asia. The lack of checkpoints is the most annoying drawback, but you can get some easy nerd points in the hundreds just for beating a couple of the character's story modes.

N3 is a Dynasty Warriors clone. If you like DW, you'll like N3. If not, don't even think about playing it.

Bullet Witch is pretty bad. The action is bearable (basically mowing waves of enemies), but there's really no reason to play the game with so many other great games on the 360. That is, unless you're a Gamerscore whore like myself.

Thanks man/ and everyone else for the information. I decided to just pass on these two games for the time being. Might try them later on when they are really cheap, and can be had for $10 or less. Since the 360 is coming out with some gems might as well get them then spend $$ on mediocre games.
