Yup, I'm on the hunt for these. I've enjoyed the third one, and yet I still havn't played the first two.

What are my chances of getting these original and sealed? I despise used games.
 
If you have a Best Buy near you it would be worth a check next time your around there. I saw Halo for 7.99 or 8.99 and pretty sure they had Halo 2 as well. Doesn't have either on their site, so I would say YMMV.
 
Were they Platinum Hits? Or Game of the Year Edition? I'm trying to avoid those. Next time your there, do you think you could check?
 
i got my copy of halo 1 for 5.00 at familyvideo.com check there. And use coupon code... i cant remember. Do a search. Im still waiting to find Halo 2 somewhere.

i saw these at my best buy last week and almost got them. halo was 9.99 but was a platinum ed. i think halo 2 was not plat ed. but was listed as 29.99.
 
You're not going to find a sealed non-PH, non-GOTY version of Halo.

Halo 2 should be pretty easy to find sealed.

Why is that? And wasn't Halo 2 like the most praised game..ever? Yet it's easier to find than the first one? That just blows my mind.

Halo is older, after so long it started coming out as a GOTY edition, and it went platinum hits. Halo 2 is not as old and you can still find the original edition.

You can find a sealed Halo, but it won't be the original one. It'll be GOTY/PH.
 
The brand new-non GH'd versions of the game are kind of collectable at this point. To save yourself a lot of time and money, I'd just settle for what's widely available already.
 
You'd think that MS would have had the smarts to make sure there were plenty of the Halo triple pack (Halo 1 / 2 & Map pack) at a decent price for people new to the Halo series.
