It appears that every time we clear the caches to bring new features/fixes online, it breaks the new post button for at least a few hours. :/

Ah, so that's what's going on? Is this just part of the growing pains or is it something that would continue into the future, months from now? Not very impressed with this 'upgrade' if things like this will be an ongoing issue, no offense.

On another note, is there no way to separate posts if you post twice in a row? I understand some people have bad etiquette but when I'm posting different subjects in the same thread, I like to separate main ideas. This would also cause issues for people who create threads and need to reserve posts for larger threads, so I can't be the only one this would affect.

I need to upload a picture and have no idea how. The help section says we can access stuff like galleries and members lists using tabs at the top. Am I the only one not seeing these so called tabs? Why is the help section lying to me?

I can go to "My Content" and then see the pics I uploaded in the old CAG and view/use those, but I don't see the option to upload anything. From there, I can get to the gallery, but I can't find how to upload anything there either. I don't see an option to directly go to the main gallery though.

The help section has a lot of stuff that's completely wrong.

I still can't edit the majority of the information within my profile, such as occupation, interests, etc. Is it like this for everyone or just me?

Yeah same here, I want to add new console to my profile but there is no option yet.

FYI, if you click on the thread title you can then click on the "Go to first unread post" text link at the top next to the reply button. not as convenient as clicking the star on the My Content page obviously, but at least it works (better than hunting for the first unread post manually for sure).

What do you mean try? There isn't even an option to change anything for me... Ok, you guys must have done something just now because now I can edit stuff from my settings.

Based on the responses about the gallery and lack of profile editing, I can't help but feel that the admis/mods seeing a different CAG than what regular users see. It seems like you guys (admin) are completely oblivious to some of the problems...

Any timeframe around when game collections will be back up and running? Bought like 30 more games and sold a couple so I want to edit it ASAP!

 
So is the group feature broken/still being worked on?  I can't add more news to my groups and I can't even post a discussion in the group.  Just errors all around making them pretty useless for now.

 
Feedback was broken for people in the "CAG in Training" usergroup. Fixed now.

Can anyone who was having social group issues check to see if it's fixed?

 
It's better, but not fixed.  I can click on my posted news now with no error, but I still get errors when trying to post news or start a new topic in the group discussion.

I never even noticed it there. Goes to show there's too much bloat now, but thanks for the tip!

Does it happen when you try to submit the new post, or does it stop you before you can enter any text?

Yeah, before I enter anything. If I go to the group discussion page and click New Topic it gives me an error message.

The error is I don't have permission to do that, but I started the group. Also, not sure if the members have the ability to comment/start posts either or if that is broken too.

I was going to catch up on leaving feedback but it seems there is no longer a form for extra details and comments.  I checked users that I have left feedback for piror to 3.0 and details are not there.  The additional details/comments section was very important for me as I typed up specifics for the trade as well as if I have traded with the user before etc.  Will these be back or is all of that lost :whistle2:( ?

 
not sure if this was addressed but the forums is not being supported by boardexpress for wp8 is this temporary or a permanent fixture?

 
When I uploaded a pic to the gallery, my avatar was changed to the pic I uploaded. I had to manually re-upload my old avatar. Not sure why that happened, but it happened.

 
Is there no longer a way to search within a specific forum? This site update is really getting annoying. Half of the site is still down (it's been how long now?) and what is here seems gimped compared to what we used to have. Why "fix" what was in no way broken?

Couple more [hopefully minor] requests:
-I believe it has been mentioned already, but it would nice for the console fields in the profile to be updated. We can list our consoles and gamertags but not for 3DS or Wii U. 3DS has a friend code like the Wii (which will hopefully be replaced) and Wii U uses the Nintendo Network ID (basically a gamertag).

-Default spoilers look a bit awkward now. Currently, they look like this:

It would be nice if they went back to looking like this:
[customspoiler='Spoiler].[/customspoiler]

(But without the need for creating a custom spoiler.)

If they haven't already, they should set up a ghost account so they can test everything out on an account that doesn't have all of the admin or mod permissions.

I have no idea what to expect from the collection feature when it returns, but it would be great if it had a way to import/export lists. I can't remember the last time I updated my collection, but I know I have a hell of a lot more games and it would be awesome to just import a list from a text file or something.

hmm. is the fact that checking your posts in your profile only shows your last 4 posts or so intentional, or a bug? I really hope its a bug, since that was how i tracked my posts/replies in threads i was following. the cruddy little update tab on the top right is worthess.

we will be able to view all our posts, not just the last 4 again soon, right? Hopefully theres an answer because if this is the new system, keeping up with posts replies is gonna be impossible

On your profile page, click on "Find Content" towards the upper right, and then on the next page, click on "Only posts"

 
The "Go to last unread post" blue button next to each thread keeps disappearing. It vanished yesterday morning but was working fine last night. And as of right now, it's gone again.

Not sure if it's only affecting me, but I use it constantly to pick up from where I last left off reading a thread.

There needs to either be an option in Notification Settings to periodically wipe notifications or a button on the My Notifications page to clear out all of them since clearing them out a page at a time is a bit clunky.
