See here:So all deals are back but without the extra percentage vouchers?
Keys clearly labeled = sounds like a good idea.My bad. Reading comprehension failure on my part.
Well I'm glad it worked out for you. Though I would still like to see GMG going to a system where all the keys are clearly labeled.
EDIT: And for the record, I wasn't calling you out with the "BS" thing. That was directed at GMG.
The games with 20% off coupons or $2 credit now only have 10% off coupons. So all deals are back but without the extra percentage vouchers?
Does anyone know what additional discount Lost Planet 1 had last time around?

This site isnt working, trying to get a game and it just says network connection error.
anyone else got it to work?
I got that earlier today as well. Waited a few minutes, refreshed and the site has been fine ever since. This site isnt working, trying to get a game and it just says network connection error.

Thanks for mentioning that... It was recommending to me... so $2.25 is a little steep for me, and I'm busy getting to the bottom of things in TSW, but good enough for me to bite, I think. (little over 75%... so it'll take 75%+20%, bundle, or MSRP drop to go lower)Yes, I just bought a couple of They Bleed Pixels for gifts and both transactions went through immediately.
They mentioned that they'd be going back to the publishers in order to repeat some of the deals. Perhaps not all the publishers are keen on running the same discounts a second time. It's not a true encore: some of the games are priced higher, others don't include the $2 credit they did last time. Some even fall under both of these categories.
Yeah, I'm in the midst of that TSW time-sink, as well - so any deals happening unless they're absolutely amazing, I probably ain't gonna budge on going for. Thanks for mentioning that... Didn't we determine that the Steam pack and the GMG pack were the same? The SEGA Genesis and Mega Drive Classics with 6 sonic games is also in the Steam version.Graaagh. Of course they bring back the sonic pack. OF COURSE. And here I am stuck with the Steam tradable version that doesn't have the other Genesis games. >:|
... huh?Didn't we determine that the Steam pack and the GMG pack were the same? The SEGA Genesis and Mega Drive Classics with 6 sonic games is also in the Steam version.
Where do you see that it has the non-Sonic games? A few pages back the consensus in this forum was since it was a Sonic pack it only had the Sonic games. It doesn't list the 5 classic series anywhere on the description page. And they aren't shown in any of the screenshots. Unless I am missing something... huh?

This includes all the non-Sonic Genesis games (Classics Series 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) except for Toe Jam and Earl 1/2. The Steam version of the Sonic pack does not include any game that doesn't have Sonic in it.

That's just how it works. The voucher works on the cheapest game in your basket. So if you want the discount you have to do multiple purchases. On another note, is there a reason why the discount code only applies to one game instead of the whole order? I've been trying to purchase multiple games and it's not working for me![]()
The third-to-last item lists "SEGA Genesis & Mega Drive Classics" as a separate item from the Genesis & Megadrive Sonic games, which are listed separately.Where do you see that it has the non-Sonic games? That same "game" is in the Steam version too. Used for 6 of the Sonic games. I haven't bought the GMG version, so I don't know, but if it had the extra games I'm pretty sure they would advertise it."SEGA Genesis & Mega Drive Classics"
Now it could be referring to the emulator, but it could also be referring to the packs. I might be wrong, I dunno. ^^;
That is very true. That same "game" is in the Steam version too. Used for 6 of the Sonic games. I haven't bought the GMG version, so I don't know, but if it had the extra games I'm pretty sure they would advertise it.
Thanks for taking one for the team. You should leave a review on the page and mention this so people don't get confused like I did. ^_^Ok I just bought it. The weird thing is that there are some redundancies on the Ultimate Pack list that's advertised on GMG. I thought as well that the SEGA Genesis & Mega Drive Classics were a compilation of different games but I was wrong. This pack already includes:
So in a way, they should either remove those individual games that are part of that list and list the Sega Genesis & Mega Drive Classics instead or vice versa. Being that it's a Sonic pack after all, it only makes sense. However, I still think it's a good deal especially with the Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- Sonic 3 and Knuckles
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Sonic Spinball
- Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
- Sonic 3D Blast
I don't really have any qualms with them rehashing it (if they can't get the same deal, don't want to do separate coupons/offers), but I think of an encore (in this sense) as being a repeat - not a rehash. They mentioned that they'd be going back to the publishers in order to repeat some of the deals. Perhaps not all the publishers are keen on running the same discounts a second time.
I don't begrudge them not having separate 10%, 20% and $1/$2 credit rewards matching each day. Besides being confusing as all get-out (people had trouble with the codes from day to day), there should be some benefit from catching the deals during their original run.
Worms Armageddon is definitely one of the best few Worms games. Reloaded isn't bad, but it's inferior to Revolution, and nowhere near as good as Armageddon (which is widely considered to be the best Worms game - although, personally, I prefer Worms 2.)I'm also about to get Worms Reloaded GOTY however, being that I've only played Worms Armageddon a long time ago and heard that it's one of the better titles of the series, I'm just wondering if I should get this one or wait for a price drop of Worms Armageddon?
Thanks for ending that matter, there was reckless optimism about that which I hadn't managed to crush before. The "Sega Genesis & Mega Drive Classics" is simply the name of the emulator is steam that the games are "DLC" for.Ok I just bought it.The weird thing is that there are some redundancies on the Ultimate Pack list that's advertised on GMG. If you want a new, Worms Armageddon type experience, get Revolution. It's widely regarded to be the best new 2D Worms game, though it's still not at the same level of Armageddon.I'm also about to get Worms Reloaded GOTY however, being that I've only played Worms Armageddon a long time ago and heard that it's one of the better titles of the series, I'm just wondering if I should get this one or wait for a price drop of Worms Armageddon?
I don't think it's hit $5 on Steam previously, though it might this summer sale since they probably want to build up interest for 3 coming out soon.I wonder if Lost Planet 2 will hit $5 during the Steam sale. If not, might be a good time to pick it up on GMG.
Yeah, I just picked up both 2 and CE off this sale. With the coupons/credit I think it would be about equal to whatever Steam puts it on sale for.I wonder if Lost Planet 2 will hit $5 during the Steam sale. If not, might be a good time to pick it up on GMG.
I've got it, it's fun. It's not the best MMO out there, or the best TPS out there, but it's a cool unique experience, and they do a pretty good job adding content that ties in with the show. I'm a big fan of the show too, so that gives me a more favorable view of the game I'm sure.Did anyone pick up Defiance? I'm tempted to for $18, but of course I'd rather wait to see if it's in the Steam sale. I've been enjoying watching the show, figure it'd be cool to have a bit of a tie-in experience with it.
Yeah, that's always nice. The cash shop is all cosmetic from what I've seen, also.Sounds cool. I think I'll pick it up now then, can't really argue with a MMO type experience and only having to pay under $20 one time for it.
Probably. I'd imagine the game giving away parts of the show would be suckier than the show giving away parts of the game. I doubt it matters much though.Should I catch up on the show before playing? I'm on like episode 7 or 8 I think.
