I'd consider Outlast if they put it at 75%+ off. Ever since it went free on PS+, I just feel like they can do better with it sale price-wise.

That's kinda bs. I mean, maybe if you paid a certain amount during early access or something, you should be able to name an important NPC, but you can't even name the random mooks without buying the super deluxe edition? Lame.

I'm not sure if there is a way to name prisoners in each play session or not, but I saw that option on the Steam page so maybe not. Wonder if the game is full of prisoners named by people who bought that option.

 
Update on the Paranormal State keys:

Missing Retro 2 continues to haunt me. I think I can still get a Gala Mass Effect on SteamTrades for 2 keys. Should I do it?

I'm just happy Spy Chameleon got greenlit so quickly. Especially because it got a Linux version recently.

How to Survive got a free update that adds some neat stuff like extended backpack and your friends' tombstones, guess I made the right move by forgetting it exists til now. Might play it soon.

Anyone getting the Image Humble Bundle? I think I will just wait this Saturday for Free Comic Book Day...I was really planning on seeing Don't Starve in the bundle seeing as it was on sale last week.

If you are considering it at all, those are some great comics. For less than the price of one trade, you can have seven really good ones. Too bad it is just volume one, and it doesn't mention anything to be added next week.

The backpack isn't a big issue if you're playing with a friend and know how to share items, but it's nice they added that feature. Tombstones seems pointless to me, just a gimmick I guess. I hope you play that in co-op!

 
I don't co-op, I'm an antisocial gamer. The tombstone thing is from roguelikes where you see where your former self died, at least that's how I'm familiar with the concept. I think it's pretty cool.

Outlast literally went on sale for like 10 minutes, and now its back to its original price. That was lame. I would have totally bought it. Oh well.

 
Tempted to buy Prison Architect BUT these early access games are proving to be disappointing so far..

  • Starbound hasn't updated since February.
  • Magicite is extremely buggy, and they removed some of the best features of the game..
  • Pixel Piracy was broken the last time I played it.
  • I've yet to even play Gnomoria.
  • & DayZ pisses me off. Worst purchase ever.

I'm done buying Early Access titles.  Say what you will about the 'evil' of publishers but at least they keep developers on track.  I doubt Prison Architect hits beta stage for another year or so.  Who knows when 'release' will be.  Starbound isn't in beta despite the developers representations to the contrary.  When I got it in October it was obviously in alpha state and still probably has another year until all of the content is fleshed out.
