  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

All the pinball fx stuff was just on sale through the marketplace two weeks ago. I got the second set of Star Wars tables half off. Why would they put it all back on sale?

Man I think I missed dling Deadlight lol. Even though it would go in my backlog of 360 games anyway. Nothing for me this month, I already have both GwG. Actually I have SR3 on disc, so I'll just add it digitally too.
 
So did anybody else get the email from xbl rewards saying if you buy cod ghosts this month you get free map packs? Did anyone else get annoyed that there is no way they'll grandfather previous buyers of the GonD version? I bought it the first week and have been nothing but dissapointed.
 
Looks like a few price drops picked up by xbldb; going from $29.99 to $19.99 at 33% off. Left 4 Dead 2, Portal 2 and Dishonored. Nothing big, just wanted to point out

 
Still have a code for SR3 Season Pass but somehow it doesn't met redeem it..xbox.com recognizes that it is indeed the season Pass but when I try to click confirm the second time...I get the message something went wrong...hrm...

In that article it specifically says XBLA along with PSN and Steam, I think. Yeah, all signs point to it coming to the 360 AND X1, which is where I'm gonna pick it up.

Will probably work on the console. I have had issues redeeming codes and getting same error on xbox.com for a while now. Whenever I get that error I have always been able to redeem on console.

Trying the code on the console it says it is invalid, tried that before and it still gives me this error..maybe it's a region problem? I got the Code from a member here as substitue since Nexuiz was pulled from the market and my code was worthless lol

And haven't tried the Limbo one yet but PoP...but died after some time

I have a problem lately when I try to redeem using Internet Explorer, but if I switch over to Chrome or enter it from my phone it works fine.

 
I think there's something wonky going on with them at the moment, I tried to download a 1.99 DLC a short while ago, and got locked out from making purchases... there are no billing violations on my account and I have over 40 dollars in it.

 
I also had some problems with the web redeeming codes, and also on the console. But in the console, after trying to redeem the code for second time, and give error, I went to my download history and there it was. So it was fine after all.

So did anybody else get the email from xbl rewards saying if you buy cod ghosts this month you get free map packs? Did anyone else get annoyed that there is no way they'll grandfather previous buyers of the GonD version? I bought it the first week and have been nothing but dissapointed.

Yeah, basically if you buy the GoD in the first week (for 360, not Xbone), you get the map pack, some skin pack and a month of Xbox Live for free. If you buy it in the second week, you get the map pack and the skin pack. If you buy it in the third week, you just get the map pack.

I've never seen Activision so desperate for increased sales on CoD before. Good. :mrgreen:

Not sure how Social Club removal will affect achievements, it's possible it might. Keep an eye on TrueAchievements, as they're usually good at figuring out this* kind of stuff.

Yeah, but that was related to people not being able to sign in on Xbox one, and friend updates on both platforms, at no time did they ever show an alert about purchases being screwy even though there were a lot of posts on the forums from people with similar/same issues.

 
I finished Deadlight. Act 3 isn't much better than the abysmal Act 2, but at least it lasts less than a teenager in bed. Still can't get over how such an enjoyable Act 1 turned into a cheap ride of bullshit design choices.

My "favourite" moment was when you had to run away from the soldiers with the chick. Not going mention names or storyline in detail to avoid spoilers, but some of the things that happened on the beginning of that section were comical. The usual unprecise jumping galore. Since you are followed by men with guns, after the first jump I was forced to turn around and shoot. Except sometimes I got killed from enemies outside of the screen. Other times, while reloading, it turns out I can't "abort" the reload, so if I jump, no matter the direction I press, it will jump straight in the direction the character is facing. Usually this made me have retarded deaths in the water. Or that time when they shot me mid air, and I went down without momentum like a rock, hilarious physics. Or when they killed me through the wall, too. Or when I finally got through that part, met another shitty ass part, and the game didn't even give a checkpoint since the beginning. Oh. My. God.

But I got over it and finished it. 400/400G. Deadlight, never again. If for some unexplanaible reason I find myself in the need to play it again, I'll pretend the game ends at Act 1. Also because the game's actual ending (even story-wise) was a load of bollocks. I think I understand why the studio behind the game is called Tequila Works. They were goddamn drunk when designing anything from Act 2 onwards, there can be no other explanation.

They don't explain what to do in that last part so you're bound to die a lot, especially in solo play.
