Figures they make rewards available for game franchise that they not only don't have on sale, but they don't sell at all. Looks like I'm gonna have to try and get a SS Humble Weekly off SteamTrades since Steam doesn't have it on sale either.

Hey Palinn, still got that extra copy of Serious Sam Classic 1 + 2? :p

fuck of course I've beaten all of the SS games except for 2 which I started last week :( Gunna have to try and get some of those achievements I don't already have. I really wish they'd credit us with stuff we already unlocked.

I do actually. The person who wanted it before ended up already owning it but I think Squirrel was second in line. Let me send him a PM first. FYI the game package is listed as #2 even though it contains all three games and is available as a Steam gift (no key).

That's fine. I didn't ask before because I've received enough kindness from you already.

You should be flogged for owning a PC and not the original two Serious Sam games. :fridge:

I love the SS games played the 1st to death and the 2nd as well....will gladly get these rewards since those plays were not through steam, and have most of these games.

Just had $8 worth of stuff flip, back up to $13.61 again. Too bad Thief isn't still on sale--that was almost exactly what it was selling at recently. Back to nothing to buy. GMG switches back and forth between nothing to buy and no credits to buy with.  :-({|=

Why even reward people for playing First Encounter HD?

Man you can play TFE on 4 different games on steam now. But damn is Serious Sam amazing

But, that Thief: Reg Ed / Master Ed sale was only 66% off before voucher / around 70% after voucher.

CAG's like me want 75% off BEFORE voucher. ;)

For stuff I'm buying with free monies my CAG rules are way less strict. :)
My CAG rules stay strict, even if free money is involved.

I only will budge usually on certain titles, certain franchises, + certain game companies.

Example: Long-winded, time-consuming RPG's made especially by CD Projekt, Bethesda, and Bioware - those can make me budge on if I won't follow the 75% off backlogging rule.

I'm a lot more strict with free money I get elsewhere. But with Playfire money there's the risk that Idiotekque could report me for SAMing at any time...then it's game over. :(

Or, you know...they could make all coupons quit working with reward money, like they've already started.

It's really easy to get the first two Playfire reward achievements for You Have To Win The Game. Plus the game is FREE.

Now unlocking the #yolo #swag #nbd achievement for £0.50. That's pretty damn hard. You have to beat the game in one life, yeah, nope. I tried and only made it a fourth of the way through before my first death, then I thought to myself why am I even trying. I tip my hat to anyone that could actually pull that off.

Some of the more difficult & tight spots in this game reminded me of Super Meat Boy & Escape Goat. I wouldn't have paid much if anything for this game, but for being free it's decent for the Playfire rewards.

Playfire is now almost immediately adding my achievements and I have almost $15. On GMG... $2.44?
Yeah, it does that sometimes. It's still random, though. I got the SS BFE stuff all within an hour or so of triggering yesterday, but You Have To Win The Game and SS HD: 2nd Encounter stuff didn't trip at all yet.

Is it just me or is this Rockstar sale sort of...lingering...

It started over the weekend and they said it was Rockstar Week so I expected it.

I am having a hell of a time tracking down the Serious Sam Classics games, by the way. Found one guy who had them on SteamTrades, and offered him a game for it and he said the offer was way too high on my side. So I said, okay, well what else do you have to trade? And then he left. :wall:

My buddy nearly died in a car accident while this song was playing. He doesn't like the song.
That sounds like a surreal experience since the Cranberries do have that about to die movie soundtrack feel to their music. Do you ever play this while he's asleep to induce horrible flashbacks?

He likely thought you were trying to scam him. Offering a deal that seems to good to be true is a common scammer tactic.

No, but whenever we would hang out and it would play on the radio, I could see him get visibly ill. Sad and funny and the same time.

Well, I made sure to give him my SteamTrades and CAG links before we did the trade to get past the whole "I'm not a scammer" thing. But I guess that wasn't enough.

Has anybody's SS HD: Second Encounter stuff popped up? My achievements don't even show under the profile section, and everything before and after that specific game was detected. I don't own the game, so I'm wondering if they're able to tell the difference between the free version and owning it.
