Some of us have slower CPUs, and less of them. I'm running an Tri-core Phenom II X3 720 BE... which is still enough CPU for most games. And a number of CAG regulars are even behind that.

Suck it up

That's exactly the sort of specs I expect from a console person, but how the hell do you run anything but indie pixel games on that Intel integrated graphics chip?

Slower CPUs I will give you but Intel graphics is a PC gamer sacrilege.

Magic, and occasionally borrowing a friend's computer.

I posted mainly to show exactly what kind of shit integrated-graphics I've been working with. I've said several times in here that my GPU is garbage, but the rest of my rig is alright/good. I was encouraged to post my laughable specs, so I did. :p

There's suitable GPUs that would probably run on your current PSU, probably up to a GTX 750Ti.

Thanks. I already had one in mind, but the link's bookmarked.

Does anyone else feel dirty when setting their Steam status to "Looking to Play?"

That said, I'm up for some gaming tonight, down for most anything, Killing Floor, F2P games, etc. Hit me up if you are interested in a horrible co-op partner or some easy DM kills. :grouphug:
How about some Saints Row the Third? Lots of coop missions on that one.

I only upgraded a bit more than a year ago and even then only to a X4 830, which is in that same neighborhood. I added an AMD 7850 graphics card soon after. The combo is more than enough to run anything in my backlog, and anything I've been able to add to that backlog over the past year. I figure I won't be able to run some of what is starting to come out, but it's not like I was going to buy those new games until they get cheap.

I'd never heard about this before but Real World Racing has a Zombie DLC ... RWR:Z and right now (for another 43 hours) you can get it with RWR and another DLC, Amsterdam and Oakland for $3.91 (80% off) on Steam.

Gamestop has a bunch of WB games on sale, including Arkham Origins for $5.24 and Lego Marvel for $3.49. Tempted to finally pick up my first lego game.

Hey I have some of these same things. Ares ram but I think it's 1800hmz and 8GB, Antec Earthwatts 650w, Windows 8.1 Pro 64, and Dell 2412M.

Maybe you're not man enough to play a LEGO game like all us rugged manly fellas? Come back later when you grow a pair. :speaktothehand:

I finally played all I could play of Lego Marvel yesterday and retired the game. Pretty good, maybe the best Lego game yet, but man there are so many things about it that still feel archaic. The interface, the controls... it was a good game though. Steam says I spent 37 hours on it.

I'd definitely be down for some SRIII Co-Op, though I have Infestation scheduled in 30 minutes. I also played some Warface last night and it is pretty good (if you like the movie style shooters like BF and COD).

What a time for nothing but craptastic bundles.  I'll say it again [customspoiler=I need to buy a game.]

Wow, is that thing even fast enough to get up to speed on the information superhighway? :D

Edit: Oops, forgot again... :newbie:

Here we are: a Humble Daily so bad I won't even bother to type it up.
Wow, that really is bad... And I say that as someone who has at least a casual interest in EVE (It just seems like anytime something intresting happens in an MMO anymore it happened in EVE) but a casual interest is just not a good enough interest level for that game from my understanding...

So I'll just continue to read its news making events with interest and carrying on with my backlogging.

Thanks for post these btw!

You should count yourself lucky. Some of us have to wait until teatime to get our daily dose of disappointment.
Mine comes an hour after I should be asleep... So if I wait up I have extreme disappointment and a loss of sleep to go with it. :(

I love how even the people who don't post as much can participate in making fun of me.
Well, with Tebow gone what else are we going to do...?

More Fighting Games talk

And yeah, I'm hoping that sales from the Naruto series will encourage them to bring a few more of their bigger series' to PC. I'd love to see the next Soul Calibur show up on Steam, With DOA and Tekken following closely behind.
Mine would likely be in the same order as well... Though, truth be told, I really have little love for the Tekken series as the juggling is just a bit silly in my opinion. (That said I would buy it if would help reestablish the genre on the platform.)
