But seriously, MS cutting 18,000 jobs. Wow. Almost 13,000 in the "Nokia Devices" division. I wonder if it's a sign they're cutting back on Windows Phone or that they were just completely bloated after buying Nokia.

The NeoGAF rumor on this that was posted before today's announcement said some Xbox marketing jobs will be cut in Europe. Gotta think that's probably true now.

Guess I'll finally jump off the windows phone wagon when my contract is up in December. Then other than PC, I'll be Microsoft free.

Yeah I was all geared up to get a WP8 and a month before my renewal came up I got banned. I like the WP OS but definitely didn't want to support MS anymore so I just got an S3 for $1.

Here's another failed Kickstarter, this one raked in $570,000.  I know nothing about making video games and I guarantee you I could make a decent game for that amount of money.

I'm actually going to keep my phone and go prepaid. The lumia 920 is a good phone, and I wish I could get a good android phone, but I can't justify the contract prices anymore when I hardly use my phone.
 
Looks like NFL Sunday Ticket is coming to PS3 and PS4.  I thought MS may try to lock down exclusivity on this for a while based on how much NFL talk they did at their reveal.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and it's like having a friggin plasma in my pocket. It's a big phone (phablet) but I've slowly gotten used to it. Luckily work foots the bill and I've got unlimited data :D/

They said that same shit with the apartment that can't get DirecTV last year with that anniversary bundle on Amazon and I used it just fine in my house. It's just legal shit they have to put, but my guess is that it will work the same as last year and you just enter a code without them asking you where and what you live in.
 
I can't sign into Bungie (heavy traffic I assume) and no email for me so far.
