Green Man Gaming (Steam) Deals: 25% Off Hitman

I bought vt4 as well and I find it better than how some CAGs described it. Pretty fun and enjoyable. Granted, I do love almost any sports game.

Huh, Gigantic Army is part of the sale.

This is basically a Cybernator / Assault Suits Valken clone for PCs. It plays -exactly- like those two games. The controls are super tight and it's also a really tough game, but not unfair to the point of frustration. Except for some of those achievements, you know, the kind that require you to be superhuman to obtain.

It also has cards, which were going for quite a high price a while back.
So far 2 for 2 on weird games no-one has heard of that you and I seem to both be interested in. Well played...

Virtua Tennis 4 is a solid arcade tennis game, with loads of customization items to unlock. I've spent about 7 hours with it so far and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would.. definitely worth the $3.

I only own it because a good buddy of mine gifted it to me a few months ago. He's a BIG fan of Assault Suits Valken and he was aware that I liked Cybernator since we discussed the regional differences while he was doing stuff with the game.

The game really is very good, it's just a shame more people don't know of it.

Let's make a petition to have GFWL removed. Come on Sega.

Cybernator was one of my favorite action platformers on the SNES.  I didn't even know it was well liked because back then none of my other friends had heard about it.  Just bought Gigantic War and I hope it lives up to my memories!

I hate you.

Bought.

how did u get yours to work? y u no tell me

It seems that GMG has implemented Canadian pricing now, Assassin's Creed Unity and Far Cry 4 priced at $69.99. I won't be doing business there any more if this is the case, too bad. I'm not sure whether they're still charging in US currency, if so that's even worse. $60 US = $64 Canadian. $69.99 US = $74.73 Canadian.

GMG is a bit slow to update some prices too....their Laxius Force prices for the indiependence sale were not very good because it doesn't seem to be using the price where the Laxius Force games all have an MSRP of 10 dollars, at least on Desura and Shinyloot. Disappointed me for sure.

The more you pay the more satisfying your gaming experience will be.

You have PLAYED an Ardorlea game before... have you not?

I saw a post on Neogaf with some further info on this Canadian pricing:

They did this a couple of weeks ago. Same with Assassin's Creed Unity. According to GMG, Ubisoft singled these two games out (with The Crew still being NA). Oddly enough, they told me it's actually $70 USD, too. I was going to do a piece on it, but the response I got from Ubisoft was them just pointing the finger back at GMG.

Maybe it's a sign that you're paying too much when you buy AAA games at or prior to release. :p

On the bright side, now you can claim a larger but still crappy discount for being too impatient to wait until those AAA games aren't new releases over what your normal retail price would be.

Those fake cag jokes never get old.

Looks like I'll finally pick up Deus Ex GOTY.

Considering I'll have the first one and HR, though, and since everyone bashes Invisible War, I think I'll skip that one. I'd play the original and the new one if I got into the series.

Invisible War isn't as bad as certain people make it sound (mostly fans of the original). If you enjoy the first one, it's worth picking up dirt cheap from GOG or Steam, just to see where you find yourself on the "love it" or "hate it" spectrum, though going in with lowered expectations will probably help.

If I ever get around to playing the two I got... finishing them... liking them enough to buy into the weakest game in the series (besides the mobile port maybe)... Odds are low, lol.

But there's always the next sale, so no big.

My biggest complaint w/ DE: IW was the unified ammo (which each weapon drains different amounts of energy in IW, as opposed to different weapons have different ammo like DE Original + DE HR had); the console-like menus (the UI would've made more sense if it supported gamepads on the PC); and the horrible performance on systems back when it was released (that's not a problem, nowadays w/ modern systems).

Minerva's Den is $2.49 (-75%) right now on GMG, or $2 if you use voucher code: P36EYA-K5JYKT-ABO7X9 (can't be used with credit). As far as I can tell this is the lowest it's been (not counting those that got it free when GFWL was patched out).

Credit to Tomasety for the heads up.

For my lovely Foxie OS X.

Killing Floor DLCs at 75% off in GMG. There are also others game deals around.

Meh I'm debating getting Dishonored GOTY for 8something with voucher on GMG sale and grumbling a lot about it. I don't think I will get the DLC cheaper than that and I missed out on the $3 price mistake a while back during one of the big sales. :(

Yeah, me too. I have a non Gotti version of it on the Console-Peasant 360 (don't hate me!) and the damn DLC never (rarely?) goes on sale. So F-it, Ima just gonna buy me the Gotti on GMG. I'm just debating whether to also pick up Wolfie 3d and Return to Wolfie also or wait for GabeN to make it rain.

The Wolf Pack bundle seems to hit $3.74 once a year and you missed this year's drop back in may. There's always next year.
Tanks for nuttin'.

Yeah, I know. I'm debating whether to pick of Return and 3D without Britney Spears of Destiny (because those are going to go on sale today with the new Wolfie...right?...RIGHT? Of course I'm right!) from Steam assuming my OCD will let me forgo having Spear.

For whatever reason Bethesda thinks their DLC is made of gold. I'll either get the GOTY or just give up on the DLC since I'm tired of seeing them play that game with their pricing.

Gaben heard your prayers and put the wolf pack on sale again!

Pixel Puzzles: UndeadZ is 1.74.  1.40 with that voucher, I guess, or you could always just borrow from Uncle SAM.

Anyways, it looks pretty interesting.  It's a jigsaw puzzle game, but there's also a little PvZ strip at the bottom.  Or so it appears.  Looks like there's a twin stick shooter survival mode thrown in as well.  I'm being a bit hazy because I've only idled it for cards so far, but I'll definitely be checking it out.

Oh, the cards are relatively valuable, too (if they sell).  6 drops and most @ .30 but a couple are at .90.  Should be able to make at least half of the purchase back anyways.

Hmm, good thought. _considering_

A jigsaw puzzle zombie game with a shred of original gameplay? I'm interested.

Never had credit to spend on GMG. DON'T JUDGE ME!!! :)

I know it'll go lower, but Dishonored is one of those games I've been itching to play. But I have almost 400 games in my various libraries :(

Also tempted to try Painkiller Black. I played the demo and thought it was OK, but people RAVE about that game!

What he failed to account for is that I'm an impatient moran and bought 2 out of 3 from GMG before the Steam sale!

Now I can get Spear of Destiny from Steam and pay more moniez than if I woulda just waited and bought the wolf pack. GabeN always gets his pound of flesh in the end.

Interesting how the Killing Floor devs resist 75% off for so long (even on Steam) and the first place they cave is a place where there's a ton of users that have buttloads of credit and a place that has an unlimited no price-limit 20% off voucher. I don't get the logic.

I don't think they care. GMG still pays the same everything is off from GMG's margins.

I don't think devs have any say in GMG's pricing. They probably have an agreement to not sell stuff below certain prices for a set period of time, then once that's over they can go wild.

Edit: And GMG credit is only a loss for GMG itself - the dev still gets what they're owed.
