We don't all have rich parents buying us every new game as soon as it comes out. So we will play whatever the fuck the money we worked for gets us when games go on sale.

People who don't like the Beatles just think of their early pop songs, and probably have never listened to the mid-late Beatles. Once you start listening to that stuff..your world changes.

Wait...Tylers talking about music? He has lost it.

Coachella just gets worse as each year passes. That was a good year and only went the first 2 days as thats all this girl and I wanted to see. I hope you got to see Thievery Corporation on Day 2 as they're always a special treat.
I just drove down for Paul Mccartney and drove home after the show. I mean I stayed the whole day, for Friday. Saw the Ting Tings, We Are Scientists, Airborne Toxic Event and a bunch of other people too.

I grew up on The Beatles and even like the early pop stuff. The Beatles really became a fun band when they discovered drugs.

I absolutely LOVE the WHITE Album.

I love it all too, but the early and later stuff are two completely different bands. Yes white album and abbey road are tops for me..both perfect.

My six-year-old's favorite song is "Hello Goodbye". We put Beatles lullabies on for him a good many nights these last six years. I think his first game played was Beatles Rock Band. When we asked him animal noises years ago, for walrus he would say "goo goo gachoo". He recorded a video of himself on his Leap Pad about a year ago singing the chorus to Bungalow Bill over and over (and over) again. We went and saw Yellow Submarine in the theater together when he was 4. He once asked me "Papa, why don't we do it in the road?"

I think I have him trained him well.

The Beach Boys experienced a similar transition. A lot of people are only familiar with their doo-wop/surfin USA-type records, but they had just as progressive a stretch as The Beatles.

And I've honestly only heard two solo McCartney songs... and they're both with Michael Jackson. Guess I should look into that.

"Jet" is my favorite solo/Wings McCarthy song, but I haven't heard a whole lot of his solo stuff.  Maybe I'm Amazed, Silly Love Songs, and Band on the Run are all they ever play of his on the radio.

The Beach Boys definitely paved the way for later music.

I think my Beatles album top 3 are:

1) Abbey Road (dem harmonies on Because)
2) Rubber Soul
3) Revolver/Help (go back and forth on these)

Anyone know what the normal prices are for some of the 4.99 SE games?  In particular, FFVII, IX and tactics.  Wondering if I should just go ahead and scoop them up now, or if it's just a buck off, and it's no rush necessarily.

I'm hoping whoever picked doctor actually comes out and says it. Right now I'm guessing it's Stotch and Snakey fucking up the polls.

I'll mention that I'm one of the 3 masters degrees that have chose that so far. I'm actually surprised that there are only 5 graduate degrees vs. 17 bachelors so far.
I'd like to know who this doc is as well, lol. I know someone mentioned having a PhD but not sure if it's the same guy who voted. That would be crazy if snakey was some low key genius stunting on everybody haha.

Some fields don't always yield better salaries with advanced degrees. Nurses and engineers already make good money without one. And then with teaching it isn't going to help much either (which is a shame because you'd think we'd want to attract better candidates).

4/5= Alright?!

Jesus. Does an awesome game have to be like a 7/5 to you?

And Remember Me is a 4 in the beginning, and a 2 by the end.
Yeah, uh...my rating metric is weird since I tend to have the foresight to not play "bad" games (what I'd rate 3/5 or lower). The worst thing I played this year so far was Magus, and I'd give that 3.5/5 because it was a dumb kind of fun. Remember Me at least has the somewhat-creative memory-run world going for it, but the combat system is clunky and I wish you could counter enemies.

One of the coolest things I have seen was the Beatles LOVE cirque soleil show in Vegas. The compilation album put out for that show is also amazing.

So just finished "beating" Proteus, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but it wasn't THAT bad. The colorful setting was really enjoyable and the music was great.  Exploring the island was actually pretty fun and watching some of the events in the game unfold was pretty sweet.  I got a few trophies and had a pretty decent time with the game actually.

Most definitely, dude. Even the way their records were engineered was ahead of its time. Brian Wilson is a genius. I'd love to see them live but I don't think he tours with them. Not sure what the deal is but I hate when that happens.

I'd probably check out McCartney, too, but I need to actually hear more of his stuff. Never knew he started another band. And I have no shame in admitting my formal introduction to The Beatles was through Beatles Rock Band lol. Awesome visuals in that game, btw, especially if you enjoy brownies.

How long was it?

I dunno, I played about an hour and got like 6 of the 11 trophies.  Now I'm sitting on top of a mountain for like 20 minutes for one more trophy, then I'll be done with it.

I can't imagine it would take me more than another hour to get the rest of the trophies, but I'm not going to bother with that.

Man, you're racist as fuck.
I don't think he's being racist

He just knows what he is attracted to. While he did say they smell like curry, and this is a stereotype, but so far for me it's held true, they also probably don't fit with what he likes.

It's like me, I've never been attracted to an Asian or Indian person. I have a type and They don't fulfill that type and in the rare occurrence they did I still wouldn't go lit with them because a. I'm sorry Indian accents annoy the fuck out of me and b. most Asians have a body type I don't like. Is it racist? No, I just like something they don't offer.or take my husband, he's not attracted to Asian woman or the majority of white girls. Why? Because he likes long legs and booty, which for the most part those two ethnicities don't have and if they did there are still some things I know he wouldn't like.

It's l just human nature and attraction really.

Yeah she's just a temp employee til the 15th. I definitely wouldn't want try anything besides getting to know her before then. She is my type but definitely not worth putting my job on the line for.
jobs are overrated--- go for it

All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz and I'm fine --- Jeff Spicoli

I met my husband at a temp job I had

I say you'll know pretty soon if she's got a personality that you like and want to go out with. Although I would probably either wait til she no longer works there (she's temp so not to much longer?) or she's not in a position supervised by you.

Here's a great Brian Wilson documentary. Also if you never checked out Brian Wilson's "SMILE" than give that a listen and hear a genius.
