Dovah's a cool chick, but I'm not honestly thinking I'm going to get her to start banging me or something. I just like talking to cool chicks, and like when they talk to me. It pisses Tyler off a lot when chicks don't talk to just him though. I tweeted her saying happy thanksgiving and said that we all miss having her hang out. Tyler would have said something about how only he misses her and the rest of us secretly hate her.

10-6. But while they think they suffered last year, it was that 3rd place division finish that now gave them a 3rd place schedule this year. So they've got to feast on an easier schedule than a 10-6 team should have gotten.

You realize that the "third place schedule" only affects two games right? That drives me nuts when people say so and so team has such an easy schedule because they were last last year. Or so and so team has it so tough now because they won their division. Your place in the division is only used to determine two opponents. Two. 2. Does.
 
Got Ironman in Spelunky on my 2nd try today. Wasted my ankh trying to fight a mummy and didn't think I was gonna make it. Next goal is the City of Gold. I think I know what I'm supposed to do to get there, but I'll look it up anyway. I think I just need the asian guy to have all characters, but from what I read he'll come with another trophy.

Are you forgetting who you are talking to? Haha. Of course I know. Those two easier games are huge when invariably at the end of the season it either comes down to a loss here or there that cost you your season. Or it comes down to tie breakers. And when your direct competition plays two 3rd place teams and you play two first place teams, it makes a huge difference.

Now your comment made me reply with what sounds like a whiny bitchy comment, which sucks. My favorite team can only blame themselves as they kicked too many games.

PS. Re-reading my original comment would make it sound like I insinuated they've "feasted" on easier games all season. Poor choice of Thanksgiving words on my part.

Wow, our system at work is running so badly today that I'm able to complete my calls before it even recognizes that I've acknowledged the call exists.

Not much to chew on in that flash sale. Transistor maybe, but it screams PSplus somewhere down the road since PS4 doesn't have that many games to choose from to begin with.

How does working on Thanksgiving work? Do you get paid time and a half, or double time? Do they require you to work or is the pay so tempting that they depend on people asking to work to get the extra dough?

Your remaining players look better than mine and you have Josh Gordon who will probably go off, so you have that going for you. Which is nice.

It depends on the employer. Friends of mine and previous jobs, they don't pay you any extra, no overtime or holiday pay. They just treat it like a normal shift. And they normally state you cannot request time off between Thanksgiving and New Years Day.

But other places vary. I currently work a job that pays 8 hours of normal pay on holidays, even if you don't work. If you do work, you get time and a half. I'm actually doing this right now, but I'm technically on call. But I get paid for 8 hours no matter what, plus the 8 hours holiday pay.

Just got back from the day with the wife's family. That wasn't too bad. 

Went by Walmart on the way back. Showed up at 5:55pm, so 5 minutes before go live time. They always scatter the movies and stuff all over, so I went back to the electronics section and grabbed the regular copies of these:

  1. Sleeping Beauty Diamon Edition
  2. Maleficent BR
  3. Mama Mia! BR
  4. How To Train Your Dragon 2 BR
  5. HDMI cable
Once I had everything I wanted, I went around looking for the promo copies. They actually have PROMO stickers on them and are not in any of the security plastics. Found everything but Maleficent and HTTYD. While in the checkout lane, pulled those up on my phone in case they didn't ring up at the sale prices. Figured I could price-match Walmart's website if they tried to claim those versions weren't on sale.

Rang up fine, though.  :D/

Anyway, just wanted to make it clear to everybody that if you do want to hit Walmart, don't worry about the movies and such running out of the BF displays. The normal versions should ring up at the sale prices too, but most people won't even try to grab those so they should still be in stock.
