FYI, in case anyone else played the first Sleeping Dogs and plans to play the PS4 version again like I did.  The guide I used long ago for the cock fighting seemed to work almost all the time on the PS3.  On the PS4, it seems to be inverted.  I had 5 straight failed matches before deciding to do the opposite of what it suggested and won the first match.  

That got me the plat for the PS4 version, now to do the DLC.

 
stuck at work for a little while today, so I brought up the ol digital backlog spreadsheet to kill the time. current stats:

ps3: 151 games (61 started, 12 completed but keeping for trophy fun/100%/plat)
ps4: 16 games (5 started, 0 completed but keeping for trophy fun/100%/plat)
vita: 75 games (54 started, 16 completed but keeping for trophy fun/100%/plat)

44 games across all platforms completed

time to start trimming more fat!
 
Still lamenting on missing out on that 48 inch TV yesterday.  

Even the $7 BF games at best buy aren't that tempting. I mean I'd probably play Dishonored and Metal Gear Rising, but I'd really rather have digital copies anyway.

Uh...it's a job. For whatever reason on a societal level we've turned sex into something to be ashamed of, particularly for money, so yeah. I'm not seeing why she can't complain about her job. Everybody else complaints about theirs.

If it wasn't for the money then nobody would have sex with him aside from a few wierdos with age fetishes. Those do exist, but Playboy women certainly aren't spoiled for choice so it's unlikely that any of them do that out of a particular affection or attraction to Hugh.

The iPhone app worked with the Newegg $15 off deal, just as a heads-up. It wasn't Android-only.

I need to update mine with the xmas stuff I've gotten/am getting. Between anniversary, bday, and xmas all within 2 weeks next month I've added about 20 games to my backlog.

 
Went to Kohl's yesterday with my sister since she had a gift card and wanted to spend it. I decided to wait in line while she looked for stuff. Ended up making the trip a bit faster.

Got Tales of Xillia 2 at Amazon during the lightning deal for $20 and decided to throw in a 32 GB micro SD card for Free shipping since I couldn't think of anything else.

Might go see what's left at the stores in a bit if I don't feel too lazy.

I just think if it was such a horrible experience she should have just left. That I know of no one was forcing her to live there and subject herself to such an experience. But she liked the lifestyle is my guess so to complain about it after the fact when she stayed just seems wrong. I'm not saying she should be ashamed of it at all. I just don't get why she's complaining now.

I imagine income and lifestyle play into it a lot, yeah. And there's nothing wrong with it, and there's nothing wrong with disliking it, but just as with any job complaining while you're still employed is a good way to become unemployed. I'm not really understanding the issue you have with it.

As I said, I just don't get why stay if it was so bad, and the complaining about it when she could have just left just doesn't rub me the right way for some reason. I guess cause she stayed to enjoy all the perks, such as the presents and money and free rent and blah blah blah, seems sort of wrong to complain. I know it probably doesn't make sense, but thats the best I can explain it. I mean, you don't see any of the other girls complaining with it. And you know there's a ton of other girls. They did what they did, enjoyed the perks or whatever of being in that relationship with Hef, and when they were done they were done. No talking bad about it years later.

I side with you on this. It is just an attention grab for someone who's star has faded out. I don't mind equating it with being a job, but it is also a relationship. There is no need to reveal personal details publicly about that relationship unless something occurred that shouldn't have. It just comes across as a cheap shot when I don't know anything was done that would warrant it. And like others have said, it really just makes her look bad in the end. So you're a drugged up whore, thanks for confirming what we already knew.

 
so I went to go get the golds that were still in stock at target, but sold out by the time I got there. I was bummed so I went and got a ps4 gtaV/Tlou edition instead. woot. also picked up the ps4 camera and another ds4 and some infamous/metro. They were sold out of mordor ps4, but im probly gonna order that and cod aw for ps4 from amazon in a minute. wootwoot. still debating on golds for $70 at bestbuy, but I must fight the temptation...

im such a sony fanboy, iv got a ps2, ps3, ps4 and ps tv / vita in this room...

I feel like I should have bought more this week besides Disney Infinity Marvel on Monday and Deadpool today. Especially with $50 in Amazon space bucks. I thought about Evil Within, Wolfenstein, & Morder, but I can't get myself to pull the trigger on PS3 versions when PS4 versions are out there, even though a PS4 is probably at least a couple years out. Not that I'm lacking for games to play, but still.
 
I think I'm going to concentrate mostly on my PS3 backlog for the next year or so. If I get down to under 50 games by next xmas, I'll go ahead and grab my PS4. Otherwise it'll be the following xmas instead. 

 
yeah i keep telling myself lies that I am going to continue to work on ps3 backlog...

(as I start to create a ps4 backlog... sleep when we are dead, right?)

Hah. The wife offerred to get me a PS4 for a combined anniversary/bday/xmas present this year. I had to say no.

Instead I had her buy me a bunch of PS3 games. It never ends.

It's pretty short I platted in a week, the trophy guide mentions a method to cheat but I don't remember doing that, I'm pretty sure I did it legit since I did two playthroughs so it can't have been that hard. It looks like it'd be super easy if you cheat to power up your character to max at the start and do one playthrough on the Sith Master difficulty.

Bad timing since you just got a PS4, If you still have El Shaddai Velo I think you should take a shot at getting G ranks on those levels considering that's really all that's left for you to plat it and you're good at melee games. I've got 4 chapters left and I am up to boost level 9 so I'll probably reach 10 for the trophy by the time I finish getting God ranks. I am beginning to wonder if the guard break and veil kill trophy are bugged or have the wrong value to trigger or something. I am pretty sure I've done more than 100 breaks,/ 300 kills with veil by now.

I think so cuz i have my turtle beach p11s but it seems they don't work with ps4 as well... im contemplating... but iv probly spent enough already... this calls for twitch/cb marathons in the future to pay for this splurge. splurge.

One trophy away from the Disney Infinity plat. Gator and Zimm you're right about the map, it baffles me as to why they didn't include one. I found a map online to try and help me navigate but it seemed to be way wrong.

Gonna finish up the Toy Story playset and me and my boy will be all set to start LEGO Marvel and Swap Force come Christmas.
 
fuck, I think it'll be two years before I can even apply to pharmacy school since I have to do a bunch of pre-requisite courses that I didn't take when I was in business school.  I could use my AP scores for some of them but since I took those tests 10+ years ago, I have no idea what my scores were.
