Seems like I ask myself every week why I still watch it. Early stuff starting at season 3 is the best... I'd be better off rewatching those than keeping up with the new stuff.
I am impressed you still keep up with it. I stopped about 3 years ago and just deleted it from my DVR recording schedule. I just couldn't do it anymore.

Oh btw, elder, I don't know if you guys are doing breakfast in the park, but the one at the hotels are supposed to be better than the one in the main park.

I bought Simpsons Season 15 for $9 at Target. Then I looked at the episode list for the season and now I'm not sure why I even bought it...
I've been buying The Simpsons seasons since they started releasing them, but its rough to continue now that they are in the late teens. The completionist in me is the only thing keeping me going. I'm pretty sure there still a few solid episodes in season 15. I think S17 is the most recent one I got and that might not have any good ones.

Yeah that's why I bought it too. I have 1-14 on my shelf already. When I catch 16 and 17 for sub-$10 I'm sure I'll buy them too. Today was a total fluke because I was browsing local ads for cheap Pepsi and just randomly noticed Target had Season 15 for $9.

Whoa, I'm looking at the pinball spreadsheet when a bearded man's picture appears in the top-right corner and then I can see MildPete edit it in the real time!

Technology!

EDIT:  It also made me realize I forgot to add my own handicap to my score when comparing to new guy with his handicap, so I am really in 2nd after like it should be.   Because I know y'all were worried.

TrueTrophies scanner #2 is down and I'm stuck on it.  Lamesauce.  I need to know how many points my super common Uncharted 2 trophies are worth damnit!

Oh, I haven't kept up with it from the beginning; I just got a DVR this past summer so I started recording them. Before that I hadn't watched it regularly for years... probably right around when the kids were born.

See? There are benefits of having kids!

Looks like PAX East is a go. I wasn't planning on going due to stressing about other stuff but my friend is hooking me up on travel and hotel so I mainly just need spending cash. We'll be at the convention center most of the day so no big deal there.

I'm awaiting an update from my doctor's office about how urgent the procedure is. I'm trying to plan on payments for that. The main thing that sucks is all my savings for a new car have been shifted to all this damn medical stuff. I was trying to save to outright buy a used car or put a big down payment on a newer one. I dont want to pick up any big debt. What was the dealership loaners you guys were talking about before? If getting a newer car is better I'd rather go that route once I do buy.

I ended up ripping all of seasons 4-8 and putting them on a usb so I could watch them digitally. having the dvds is nice but eventually my kids destroy the packaging or end up scratching them.

What I really wish is Amazon Prime had more than just seasons 1-3 and 20-25 digitally. I'd buy all the early ones.

It is the cars the dealer loans out to people who are getting service as a short term rental type of thing. They are really hard to come by these days, but it is worth looking into.

Used cars through dealerships usually will cost you more than a new one. Used cars is where they make their money, new cars they "lose" money on because they hope by selling you a new car they will gain your business in the service dept which usually is where dealerships make their money.

I used to sell cars, and am great at helping and getting deals. Pm me and I'll be happy to help :D

Anyone that's gotten the Gravity Rush plat remember if you killed the rare Nevi when you got to them or went back later?  Trying to decide how much it will gimp me to upgrade for that fight versus how difficult it is to get back to that point later.

This Backstrom show is fucking stupid and so boring.
Ya, that's what I kinda figured from the promos and I was never much a fan of his Dwight character either. I already watch enough TV as it is that it's tough for me to add anything mediocre to my rotation in the chance that it improves.

The wife wanted to check it out. She likes cop shows/procedurals more than I do. We watched the pilot, thought it might get better since pilots for s lot of shows tend to stink, but halfway through the second episode we gave up.

I liked Bones for awhile, didn't like The Finder (another show he created) at all so I didn't figure it would be any good.

That redhead detective almost makes it worth watching, though. Almost.

Started up Brothers this morning, interesting game so far. Only in chapter 2 or 3 I think but its a unique change of pace game for me right now.
Brothers is the only trophy game I've played that I completed without getting a single trophy. Every one of them is for going off and doing random shit.

Great use of mechanics and a decent progression/story. Depressing as fuck though.

The first episode was terrible. Backstrom was just so pointlessly antagonistic and prejudiced without really being an interesting character at all. He doesn't come across as intelligent so it's not a super mystery show or anything like that. He's just an asshole. Episode 2 was a big step up but still not very good. I'll give it a few more and then I'll be done unless it improves quite a bit.

The supporting cast is alright, but nothing special.

I thought The Finder was actually pretty good. The Glades was fucking terrible, though. They started around the same time and have similar settings so I always kind of link the two together.

I had taken a break from the feats because they were boring and tedious as fuck.  I decided to get the other tedious trophy out of the way instead.  There is a 50 level "survival" thing where there is no way to save in the middle.  Only way to get the trophy is to do it in one go.  At least you can pause.  You are doing really well if it is 2.5 hours to finish.  I got to somewhere around level 45 and the power went out.

Over 2 hours of time playing that I get to do all over again now.  fuck!

Akiba's Trip is clearanced for $28.99 on BB for Vita. Brings it down to $23 new and it does ship.

Lego: The Hobbit is $12.80 after GCU:

BB also has a buy 2 get 1 pre-owned game thing going right now.
Word of warning, that one is probably the longest of any of the recent Lego Vita games by a significant amount.

Hahaha...the first time I tried for that one, I thought you could save in the middle, so I exited out at level 30 or so. So pissed. It's just as boring and tedious as the feats, except now you waste time slowly walking across the weird maps that are hard to see holes in.

Finally used Netflix on the Fire Stick and now I see the problems. First of all where is My List? I couldn't find it anywhere. Then during playback of the movie (which I had to search to find) there were a number of times where there was kind of a playback hiccup that I've never seen with the 360 or PS4. I guess this thing is a piece of shit. Maybe they'll fix it?

I'm keeping the game LE; undecided on the system.  I really don't care for it I don't know what to do with it.  I'm not even sold that it's going to be worth selling once it's out in the wild and the market's flooded.  Can't cancel it though because what if it becomes the next Nipplechu system and I made the mistake of passing on that one at $160.  BBY couldn't have done me the courtesy of cancelling my order and giving me a $50 credit though like so many other people. :whistle2:(

I really just want the regular size system but Nintendo couldn't even put out a limited run on it or something to satisfy those that wanted it.  Stupid region locking.

Watched Predestination, pretty good, unfortunately I had already heard of the
time travel paradox of the orphan who has a sex change and becomes their own father through time travel
so I knew where the plot of most of the movie was going pretty early, though it was still well made.

I literally don't remember anything about that game except that the challenges were a huge pain until you upgraded a lot.
