Does Wal-Mart charge in full or when they ship for pre-orders?

Tempted to secure a MP10 LE but don't have a valid CC at the moment since usps failed to deliver my new card. If I use debit, I don't want it to hold $60 in limbo for a month.

Walmart.com will put a temporary authorization on your card for 5-7 business days before it drops. They don't charge until it ships.

If you opt to pay via PayPal, then you will be charged immediately.

 
Made several stops today and turned up both jack and shit. Did someone really claim to have found Megaman on the shelf at a Walmart today? Im skeptical.

She even added a note on the reship to ship them in a bigger box. The damaged MKs I received came in a tiny box, they had to bend the card to get it in. Well, had time on my hands being away from home for the evening so I ended up buying Sonic, Mega Man, and Ike from Amazon UK last night on my phone.  Total with shipping came to 58 so that's about 19 ish a piece.  I knew I wasn't going to beat the scalpers to Best Buy to use my GCU which means best bet would have been ordering them online.  So 19 a pop isn't too bad.  Still, sad I can get something from the UK shipped here cheaper than buying in the US.  Guess that's how it goes in the Amiibo world.  Seeing how much the US Meta Knight is now, glad I picked up the Japanese one 2 weeks ago for 24 shipped.  As an "opener" I don't care about packaging so better to save the money and time waiting outside BB.

P.S.  Score - just managed to pick up Dedede from a 3rd Party Amazon seller for 22 shipped.  If all 4 of these show up, I am good til Wave 4 :cool:

Seriously use the fucking trade thread! There has been nothing but talk of bent fucking boxes and possible trades for the last 10 pages. I enjoy this thread immensely but I also remember a time when it was quite useful. Enough of the bent boxes! Leave a cold iron on the god damn box for 6 hours and presto!

Forgot to mention - I ordered Ike by himself first from Amazon UK before I realized that I could get Mega Man and Sonic pretty cheap as well.  I didn't want to cancel Ike until I could create another order with all him and the other 2.  When I went to check out with the second Ike, the system blocked it - said there was an order limit on this item.  I like that.  I actually hope US retailers start limiting the numbers of Amiibos per character people can order as well.  I could live with 2 per character - one to open/ one to keep carded.  Doesn't that seem fair given how limited these are going to be moving forward.

P.S.  Uh -Oh.  Am I going to bet accused of being a socialist again for wishing for limits?  :cool:

Not trying to start a flame war, but that's too many. They should deliver Sonic to you but cancel your orders for Mega Man and Ike. Everyone else who orders should get a chance to receive amiibo instead of having their orders cancelled. I'd rather see three people get the amiibo that they want than one guy get all three of them. That would be fair. They could have cancelled your whole order so just be happy that you're getting one. DERRRRRRR

Price wise to buy those three are about equal to what you could sell the Zelda LE to buy them so I'd say go for it if you need those 3 still.

Nowhere close, if you sold the 3 on ebay you'd be lucky to buy on ebay. You should at least get lucario/rosalina as well

The game is going for roughly $150. That's pretty comparable if those are your must-haves.

If they're new/sealed, I'd do the trade. But if they're open, I wouldn't... because more than likely, they're import figures that were opened and are being passed off as NA versions (like on eBay).

i wouldn't but thats just me personally since shulk is gonna be rereleased in may his price might drop and marth is already being remade so others could also and the strike at the ports are probably going to end soon so amiibo's could just become way more common after it personally i would wait a little while before i decide unless you bought the zelda thing to trade or sell for amiibo's

It depends on what you want them for. If you want an all U.S. or unopened collection then I'd say go for it. If you're going to open them up anyways then I'd say you'd need at least one more semi rare or above figure before trading.

The guy at best buy informed me a customer said there is a DFW amiibo council where they talk of stock instores of amiibos. If there is such thing give me the info to sign up!
 
Anyways im de-railing. I don't post here often since i had every one pre-order except Rosalina at the time, so i don't get to do the hunt often since early wave 2.

But im always here, watching everybody miss out on everything because they have a post count set to 10.

I just put my "Just in case" pre-order in at Wal-Mart based on that guys theory of them just "upgrading" you when the time comes.
