Playing the card market down to the smallest details can be time consuming, yes, but if you're deriving fun from it... it's like playing a Steam game without having to actually play any Steam games.

Exactly like that, in fact.

Because who actually PLAYS their games?
Sounds like item flipping, swear it could be more fun then the large majority of bundle games (well don't know how it is now but in the past...) =p.

wait.. WHAT? you bought Witcher 3?

I thought your GPU can't run it?!?!
Naw. A friend hooked me up w/ W3 key.

For those curious if I can run it w/ my under-spec vid-card here (i7 950; 16 GB RAM; 1 GB VRAM GF 560 Ti; Win 7 64-bit) - IMHO, it runs like crap in 1080p w/ everything on Low + some stuff OFF (such as AO + DoF). - i.e. 20-30 frames regularly. Sometimes, dips even into the 10-15 frames area - major "ewwwwwwwwwwwww."

If I go w/ 720p w/ those settings, it stays fine around 30-40 frames on Low. I don't like that res', TBH - looks like crap on my 23'' monitor, IMHO. It's playable, sure - but doesn't look that good to me.

If I feel like sacrificing a bit and going w/ a res' in-between 720p + 1080p and it might run fairly (i.e. 30 frames or above), maybe I will play it. Very doubtful, at this time - I can't seem to shake Dragon Age: Inquisition, after a total of approx. 69 hours with it; and that runs well + looks worthwhile to me on my rig. So, for now - I'll just stick w/ DA:I.

For craps and giggles, I did test AC: Unity to see how it'd run here this past weekend. I was kind of bored and in "test the kitchen sink games at my PC" mode. Needed a short break from DAI, basically. Anyways, AC:U runs way worse than W3. AC:U runs like garbage on my PC, no matter the res' + tossing everything down Low or Off - i.e. always below 23 frames. Often, in the 15 to low 20's range...even at 720p.

i tried this (thanks man.. save me some times to list cards) and then got a message saying that I can't list more than 200

So for those who have tons of card to sell, how many cards do u list at one time and how often to do u list (once every other day? once a week?)

thanks
Just give them your social security number, you'll never collect it anyway. Besides, the irs was hacked, so your number is already out
there, might as well use your own number before the thieves do.

if some cards remain unsold, is there an automatic way to re-list them?
There's a de-list all feature. If they don't sell in the time frame you want then remove them and re-list them at a lower price. Chances are the prices will go up with the Summer sale participation event.

I sold 2 foils recently. One for 11 cents and the other for 8 cents; definitely not like they used to be.  However, I was glad to finally sell them as I was not interested in crafting a foil badge for either set.

Kill me now. To think I have individually clicked remove when I wanted to remove everything.

Man, leave it to Blizzard to release a Starcraft II Battle Chest without the final expansion for the game.

Going to wait until they're done with it to buy it. And a $5 sale.
you are going to wait for a long long time. Maybe when Starcraft 3 comes out (that would be another 15 years)

I am wanting a couple of games this sale from Steam.  I think it is realistic that Valkyria Chronicles can hit $5 or under considering it was already on uplay for $5 just last week.  For those that had it on PS3, it is with the DLC and seems to be a good port.

Next on the list is Divinity Original Sin.  I would love to pick it up for $10 or less, but considering that they still have it listed at $40, that maybe a stretch.  Still this one would be nice to pick up before the enhanced edition (which will be a free upgrade if you have the game).

I could list Borderlands the PreSequel and the Season Pass for $15, but 1) will not happen until at least Winter and 2) it will go even lower ie. under $10 next year.

CSGO; it was on sale at $3.74 12/19/13, bring back the price or even lower, I will buy it.

I would list Transistor for $5 or under, but I really think that it is a bundle game (albiet higher tier).

Until I get an updated system (I am waiting until windows 10 and the newest iteration of DX before I decide on a GPU), I cannot even think of buying Witcher 3, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor and some others.

Anybody else want to share their Summer Sale wishlist?

Probably mentioned it before but since I bought $6 Watch_Dogs I'm looking at stuff like:

- Risen 3 sub $15

- Dead Rising 3 sub $15 (won't happen)

- Endless Legend sub $10

- Ducktales finally 75% off/$3.75ish

Not much else that I think will hit good price points. Borderlands Pre-Sequel I don't have much interest in unless it hits some rock bottom $5 spot. But by then there will probably be Borderlands 3. Hand of Fate, Warlords of Xulima, and a few other indie titles but they're borderline bundle fodder.

summer sale wishlist:

the orange box for $5 or lower                                                         company of heroes complete pack for $5 or lower

castlevania lords of shadow ult. edition for $5                                age of empire 3: complete collection for $5 or lower

sleeping dogs def. edition for $5

pinball arcade season 2 pack for $15 or lower

modern warfare 3 for $5 even though I know hell will freeze over first

Portal 1 should be free by now.  Obviously TF2 is.  I think the entire HL2 package has been under $5 at various times.  I remember when they'd discount HL stuff by 90% -- several years ago I picked up HL1 + the expansions for $1 or so.

Hoping for a good price on Wasteland 2 or Divinity: OS even though i shouldn't buy either since I'm only about 1/3 through Pillars of Eternity and I haven't even touched it since Witcher 3 came out.  Be nice to snag Icewind Dale Enhanced for $5.

If TellTale's Borderlands or Game of Thrones games hit $7.50 I might grab them too, but that probably won't happen.

I would like Rayman Origins to finally hit 75% off. I know this won't happen so I'm also hoping some old shooter packs (doom, hexen, quake, etc) maybe hit 75% off. I know this is alo asking for too much so I will settle for Dragon Age Inquisition to hit 5 dollars on steam, which it definitely will.

I really wanna play the game HuniePop so I'm hoping that goes on sale. It gets alot of positive reviews so I hope it can help me with my getting women problem in real life.

In trying to come up with a wishlist I realized most of what I'm really looking at probably won't hit near what I want. Some of it's kind of guesswork if they will put it up for sale for hefty discounts or not, but a good bit doesn't seem likely. Of the ones that might:

South Park: The Stick of Truth (would love under $10 but would probably settle for the standard $13.50 something)

Gear City ($5.00; could hit it but iffy, been cheaper but not on Steam and not since Oct/Nov)

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (75% off but guessing the best will be 66% off (will probably still jump at that)

Merchants of Kaidan, 75% off

Endless Legend below $7.50

Then there is stuff like WMMA 3, Wasteland 2, The Spatials, Mad Games Tycoon, Front Office Football Seven, and Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments; which I don't think will go on sale at a discount I'd be interested in.

Realistically I'd expect maybe one or two of the semi-possible deals to happen and I'll probably grab some games I've never heard of/forgot/etc. that are under $5.

I noticed that Neuro and Foxhack have both achieved level 100 for Steam meaning well over 400 badges crafted. Any secrets to success i.e. sale the most expensive and craft GSGO to level 50? I reached level 60 and have about 20 badges ready for the start of the Summer sale.
Secrets, no. I crafted about 250 badges during the last winter sale. Why? Brain injury most likely.

Hmm CAG is saying I didn't post about Shattered Planet, so guess I can throw it into this one. If I did, well (hopefully) can edit that part out later (spoilers so I don't spend an hour trying to decide if I can make these "reviews" shorter):

Shattered Planet-I really like this game, rare I say that about a bundle game. I mean I say I'll play some/like them, but not to this level. Showing up as only bundled once (Strategy 2 humble weekly). Anyways, it's a pretty simple game, you are a clone, you go to a planet and you move around trying to get to the next "distance" (level). Once you die, you lose all gear on you and restart as a new clone, though you keep the two currencies of the game, allowing you to use the random crafter machine to get new armor/weapons and the skill trainer to improve the skill of that character class.

It's simple, the maps are simple, and it's basically turn based. It was pretty damn addicting though, and something had quite enjoyed. Hell so much show I actually played the entire time it took to get the card drops, I almost NEVER do that. Art looks pretty good, got rogue-lite elements iirc and yeah, if you have it from the bundle or don't find throwing a couple bucks during the sale, it's worth a shot.

Supreme League of Patriots Issue 1: I wanted to like this, I really did. The guy who plays Mel is awesome and some of the jokes I thought were pretty decent. Kyle is so damn annoying, not sure if it's the voice actor or just how he was required to read for it. However the biggest issue of the game is it feels like a damn drag. They make a big thing about typical puzzles and extending the game etc. and how they won't do it. Only to make miserable versions of them and fetch quests. I've played MMOs that felt less of a drag. Basically, I'm going to watch someone else play it on youtube, can't take it.

Lili: Child of Geos: Kind of knew going in I'd probably like this, and I did. It's cute, it looks great, and the gameplay is more fun then I first thought it would be when I started. Still feel it doesn't work great with mouse and keyboard (be even worse with a controller) but I got the hang of it and was able to do alright. The choice of small sounds/voice clips I did not like, felt they should have kept with no voice at all, or gone and had voice acting for everything. Still only a minor complaint. Imagine anyone actually thinking about playing this has, but yeah another one worth giving a go if you need something new to play/going through backlog slog.

About all I got, idled a ton more but most were horror genre so just idled them without playing. Well played some AAA games, but like anyone need or wants to read a random posters review of those on some forum =p.

Is the game steadily running at 28fps? or was that because of the water was bogging down your system?

Looks pretty good.
At 1080p - not always, no.

When in the world and not much happening on-screen, it's okay.

Even in combat w/ a few monsters, it's okay.

When in a town or village w/ people running around - it tanks down to early 20's...sometimes lower.

Runs better at 720p - usually above 30 frames then, no matter what.

When I'm done w/ DAI and/or need a short break from it again, expect me to test W3 more.

Kaidan was in a BS recently, IIRC. You could always trawl the refuse thread for a key. I just figured I'd wait for a better bundle.

CSGO will never hit that price again. They are too worried about hackers. The game will be absolute shit for the next month due to the sale in the first place (since it will probably go down to $7 again).

Damn game is addictive but also a cesspool for 12 year old children using their mommies credit card to buy a bunch of accounts to hack on. Then you have tools that cant reach max level so they have to smurf.

Wait... so you're like.. serious.

Why didn't you just throw 20 bucks towards Bard's Tale 4? You'd get Wasteland 2 at the end of the month.... for free.

Anyone that wanted Wasteland 2 should have just backed Bard's Tale 4 in the first 48 hours. Sure, it would cost $20 up front, but when the game releases in 5 years you could easily pawn off that BT4 key when hype is high and it retails for $45.

I don't have much of a wish list.  I actually DID back the BT4 Kickstarter so I guess I have Wasteland 2 coming to me.  Don't ask me exactly why I backed it but I haven't bought a game in ages and figured I'd get the Wasteland 2 out of it and, in another 18 months, it'll feel like Christmas when I get a "free" BT4.  "Free" in that the $20 will be long forgotten.

In theory I want PoE and Divinity: OS but, if I have Wasteland 2, I'm already set up for isometric retro-RPGs.  And I want GTA V but I doubt it'd go below 50% if that.  There's a handful of "minor" games I'd buy at 75% off like Marvelous Miss Take for $5 but I'm not rushing to my screen every day to see if this is the day it's on sale, either.

It's sort of silly, I have over $130 in Steam Wallet.  Last year, I had $120 in Steam Wallet.  Even with buying some cheap stuff in the meanwhile, I have more credit now than before but still can't justify buying most stuff.  I just have a ton of games I should get to first.

All Endless games has been free anyway. So if you don't have 'em, you missed best possible deals. Expect if they give editions with DLC for free.

Free as in really free or free as in you ran some script or IGN Prime game of the month, which only some people got glitched to get permanently.

Some of us poor schmucks live in the real world and don't go hackin and smackin or get glitched out eternal free memberships and just have to buy stuff on regular sites on regular sales.

We need to start a charity and get on Humble. "Ooohh... 2% goes to Game-Assist to buy unfortunate non-glitchy gamers copies of stuff at 75% off..."

As a side note, you would think that at some point over the years someone at IGN would have gone 'We're giving away thousands and thousands of game keys every month but we don't have anywhere near the amount of money that we should have coming in for that amount of paid memberships. Gee, I wonder...'
