Is there any way to turn off auto downloads for xbox one purchases made from the web store?  I don't turn my xbox one on that often but I "buy" the free gold games every month from the webstore on my PC, I'd rather not have most of them auto download to my xbox one.  

I found the 360 download queue on the web store interface -- https://live.xbox.com/en-US/Download/Queue -- but I can't find a similar sub site at all for Xbox One.  Which is so dumb :(

Monopoly deal was initially MP, but it received an update a few days later that added a single player mode to it. I actually found it to be pretty fun. It's a nice twist on the whole monopoly idea. I would recommend it.

How many Monopoly game does one need? I have 2 on WP and 2 on the 360. They're all pretty much the same and now I am considering Monopoly Plus? Geez.

 
Does the Batman Lego game allow both players (in co-op) to unlock achievements? It really bugs me when I'm playing with somebody and only one of us are unlocking them. I thought that was something that was addressed pre-launch of these latest consoles.

I am surprised the Zombie Army Trilogy is not part of this sale.

 
I know I've already done this with a couple other games, but you guys of been so helpful I blame you for enabling me hehe. Can someone sell me on or talk me out of Lego Batman 3? I just can't decide.

Buying the expansion passes:

Pros:
-You get to enjoy them for 3 months or less depending on whether you continue to find enjoyment in those 3 months.

-Taken king is coming out in 3 months time. One edition will include all previous DLC for way cheaper than what you'll pay if you buy the expansions now.
--Taken King will render pretty much all previous gear and equipment useless because they want to "change up the system".
--You'll realize you weren't missing out on much



Up to you though. Odds are that because Destiny is still cross platform, taken king will also have cross buy, but Activision's been a little insane with the DLC choices, so it's up in the air.

I just grabbed Project Spark from BB cuz I noticed it's down to $15.99 w/ GCU. Can I still have fun with the game if I never create anything, myself? Lots of pre-made stuff, I presume?
 
For those who have used the original controller and the covert one, is it worth keeping the covert I paid $55 or should I look for an original one cheaper?

The premade stuff, that is not created by other users, is not very much. The pack you bought will give you access to it, along with a few cooldown type items that give you bonus EXP or whatever for a think a month. You'll also get some "building block" pieces for making your own stuff, but it's a small fraction of all the stuff available.

It's kind of a poorman's LittleBigPlanet in my opinion. Just not all that good. But, I did pay quite a bit more for it so maybe I'd feel different if I'd snagged it for $16.

The good news is that it has a truckload of achievements.

Got my finger on the trigger for Screamride and State Of Decay but I'm having trouble pulling it. Not sure if I'll ever play them. Ahhhh but its so tempting just to throw them in the backlog. Decisions, decisions.

Wasn't project spark free on XBL? Or am I just going insane? With user created stuff, there's always something a player is able to find that's cool to play.
 
Is screamride any fun? Id really like a roller coaster tycoon game to hit xbox one. I put hours into that game.

Neither of those is a great discount (at least on Xbox One), so i'd wait. Either one of them seems likely to be free GWG anyway.

Gamestop will take disc only games. Be careful because sometimes they may try to ding you with a refurb fee, but they shouldn't and usually don't in my experience. Don't know if EB Games is the same, but I assume it would be.

I enjoy it. I mostly like the destruction levels because the game has excellent demolition physics. I haven't done too much of the coaster building levels though.

If I ever get any of the controllers with the headset jack built in, I will probably still keep the headset adapter and use that. The ability to turnup/down chat/game volume from the controller is awesome.

Well Mutant Blobs, GTA SA, Assassin's Creed China, Lego Batman 3, and Lara Croft look like winners to me.  Deciding whether I want to get a bunch of cheaper games or get the KI collection, I copied my question from the other thread, if anyone knows I'd appreciate clarification.   

The Killer Instinct Complete Collection is both games and 16 characters, I know the first game had an additional character which you can only get via a code if you were a day one gold member, but KI 2 has Omen and according to wikipedia it says he is only included in Ultra or Combo Breaker packs.  He is not mentioned in the xbox.com ad but those 2 packs are, so is it safe to assume he is in there somewhere?

 
For what it's worth, Thomas Was Alone is one of the most boring, tedious, and least charming games I've ever played. Would highly recommend staying away from.

I don't have space to keep the cases. 500-600 games and not much space to store them in forced me to start keeping my games in envelopes. But I also pretty much stopped trading games in after I re-bought games I had traded a few times.

My situation is a bit different... bought Destiny (disc) on 360 for my son for Christmas then soon after the season pass. Several months later, purchased a used copy for X1 (season pass cross-buy transferred over). Recently purchased 2nd Xbox 1 and a 2nd cheap used copy of Destiny so we can play together. I would like to get the digital copy for game sharing, then I can trade/sell the (3) disc copies that I have.

Omen is a bonus character for season 2. The ads probably do not mention him because he is technically not part of season 2, but all season 2 owners own him. It is confusing. A lot of people have him ranked pretty low, but there are a few people that are amazing with him. The best part of KI is that every character can be considered top tier. It is kind of crazy.

The only character you would be missing is Shadow Jago. He was available with one year of gold when Xbox One first came out. He was also available earlier this year as part of a community fundraiser event (that is when I purchased him). Right now he is just an alternate skin of Jago. Because the community fundraiser was so successful (raised over $100,000 in 3 days when their target was 3 weeks), he will be a real boy probably by the end of the year. There is a change he will go on sale again.

Killer Instinct will be cross-buy and cross-play with Windows 10. So even if you don't have an Xbox One, it could be worth purchasing now if you are getting Windows 10.

There are lots of pre-made games, but most are fairly mediocre. Even the ones that clearly took a lot of skill/work/time are, imo, not that interesting. You can get some enjoyment out of it, but it becomes fairly tedious playing Crossroads over and over again after a while (where you make some minor decisions with layout and quests - but mostly it seems like a way to have you buy more options). The $15.99 'package' does include a month of Premium (where you can buy extra content packs with earned in-game currency) and I think it has the whole Void Storm series (not sure how many episodes) as well as few playable characters.

Project Spark is free, yes. But your personal options to create your own worlds or make your own adventures in Crossroads is very limited unless you buy extra content packs. For anyone on the fence (even blinknot4) - you can always download it for free and give it a whirl to see if it appeals to you.

I can't find Predator either - but the Predator/Prey costume pack I found by pressing the menu button on the MKX tile and then go to "manage game." Scroll over and under "Ready to Install" I found the Predator/Prey pack (just costumes). This is only for people who own the Kombat Pass. I assume Predator will be available later today. Hopefully the new fatalities are up and running now, as it looks like MKX just received an update.

Definitely. I can totally see Screamride being GWG before the year is out so I took that off my list. I went and bought SoD though. Couldn't help myself.

Anyone here like Crysis 3? Thinking of getting that one too.

I really enjoyed Crysis 3, particularly the bow. I'd recommend it if you like single-player FPS. Not sure how the MP is. I think it's an 8-10 hour game. $5 is an excellent price.

 
i went about 2 months without turning on my xbox one, i'm still playing a lot of games on 360 and other consoles

i used that feature they added on 360 to add the free xbox one games with gold , i turned on my xbox one last night and the only free game it added to my games is pool nation fx so i lost out on child of light and castle storm, i was able to add assassins creed 4 and massive chalice

am i the only one that had this problem adding free xbox one games from the 360?

Well, Mass Effect and Lego Batman 3 for me from the sale.

I am impressed at how quick ME showed up as "ready to install" on my One. (the time it took me to cancel the download on 360, turn the 360 off, and switch input to the One)

Good thinking, although I may have had enough fun with tanks after we got a couple shoved up our cornholes during that assault match last night. It's nice that it's f2p so everyone who wants to play will have it. Looking forward to Friday
