Cool, that's what I thought - been monitoring UK Amazon since the ES one went live and hadn't seen it. I got my delivery date e-mail from Amazon.es too this morning ("Estimated delivery date: 20 April to 2016 - April 27, 2016"). I'm hoping to get one from Amazon.co.uk instead though to guarantee that the outer box is in English (...because I'm an anal-retentive nitwit about that kind of thing lol).

Thanks for the statue pics. It does look nice. I'm not sure it's $450-nice for me, personally (since I'm more or less tapped out on large CE display space), but I'm a sucker for actual limited editions, so I bit.

I finally received my Xenoblade Chronicles X SE from BB. It was shipped in a box with 3 air bubbles. One corner is slightly crushed but I'll take it! Too bad it's too late to cancel my GameStop order.

Yup, I just got mine today from BB and it's also in a box with air bubbles with a small slight corner crush. Just glad it wasn't in a bubble mailer envelope.

 
Just got home from San Francisco to my ridiculously trashed Xenoblade from BB. Did anyone have any luck getting them to do anything besides returning it for a refund? I really don't wanna rebuy and return from GS.

Does anyone have the elite CS support number? I've called like 5x now and I keep getting "cut off" while being transferred.

Well holly crap on a cracker. My Xenoblade LE is actually in pretty decent shape. It was in a large flat box with one piece of that little air bubble padding in it. Its totally fine except for a small crease/crack on the very bottom near the back. Gamestop never called me but i had one payed for there. I guess i'll go check if its in beter condition. If not im not totally aversed to keeping this one. Got lucky i guess

 
I ended up getting 3 XCX CE orders. I forgot to cancel my other two. Ironically, the one that came with the least amount of packing material came in the best shape. Gamestop put a ton of air bubbles in it, and that one had the most damage.

Moral of the story? You never know what to expect when you order delicate CE's. You wish for the best and that's it.

Getting closer...... not quite there yet, though proof they oversold and had poorer quality on this than they expected.

 
That's pretty ridonculous how fast that Halo 5 CE is dropping.  If I ponied up for that bad boy day-one, I'd be hella pissed right now.  It's the nature of those 'not really that limited' >$200 LE's, though.

As a new PS4 owner, I wanted the LE for FFX/X-2 and found one at my local Target for $50, they price matched BB at $40.  I had a $37 target gift card.  Score!  Even though it's not a particularly great LE, it made my day.

it halo it a given based on the past CE i got both the helmet and the halo reach Diaroma statue CE and the other limited editions for $30 or less each time over the years. Halo always has one the most mass produced CE each release ever. And alot of here did try to warn people on that but they didnt listen and bit anyhow.

Microsoft can't sell any of the LE Halo 5 stuff... eventually all of it will be clearanced. I see more Halo 5 consoles then any other X1 console just sitting on shelves. Most popular Halo 5 related LE item seems to be the green controller but all of it (the two LE games, console, controllers) have been on significant sales and they're still kicking around.

Were you one of the September orders? Those were during the initial preorder window. I ordered mine in October when they restocked. I went on their website and they don't have a contact number - just email. It looks like the first preorder wave was fulfilled by now and the second preorder wave is going to be fulfilled sometime this month.
 
To jump on the XCX CE bandwagon, my BB order was shipped in a box with minimal damage. However, the clear, round sticker seal on the box is cut open. Oddly enough, a fresh sticker seal is then placed over the top of that. Haven't opened it up yet to make sure all the contents are there. Just weird.

FWIW, I received XCX LE from BBY and R6Siege CE from the Ubisoft store- both very well packaged and perfect condition.  I sympathize for those of you with beat up XCX LE's or missing/ shoddy components in the R6S CE.  I wouldnt say the R6S CE is a super high quality CE, but I'm keeping it.

Those of us that bought it day one avoid getting upset by telling ourselves "Well yeah, but I bet they're all beat to hell.. it was worth it!" and then crying in our cheerios.
 
The only way to avoid getting upset with price drops is to feel that the original price point was worth it to you in the first place. Most things will drop in price. Come to terms with this fact. And then buy it.
 
I agree. I'm not upset that I paid that much (I used a lot of certs) just annoyed that I could get a nice price adjustment but I'm JUST outside the window lol.

I hope next Halo CE doesn't have a sensitive product like a statue so I can wait for a price drop and not worry about getting a banged up one.

Hey, as a fellow sucker for CE/LE's, I don't blame ya for springing on day one. And I can give some credit to the "beat up box" justification.
