The new (and mod approved) Sony RLS thread

How many points do you guys have? I'm sitting in 12,000(!). Hoping for over watch, uncharted and doom and save the last 3000 for mirrors edge or maybe a controller. Getting my hopes WAYYYY up lol.

I have around 6,900. I picked up battleborn and UC4 last time. hoping for Doom, which is awesome, and overwatch, which I am still not sold on, but for $5 I'll give it a shot.

I've got 9000 atm. After Overwatch and Doom, I think I may start saving up points in hopes they offer the PSVR system this fall, or maybe even one of these rumored upgraded 4K-ready PS4s.

 
So we are all here for Doom and Overwatch today?   Thats awesome, haha!  I've only got a little over 8k.  All quizzes done, guess I need to rock the app at some point.

 
Only 10k, the amount of quizzes or the points have gone down, the least points I've been at.

Got the Twitter thing resolved.

They are usually thursday or friday afternoon. Last week, thursday had MLB 16, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted 4 Digital Deluxe and Battleborn digital deluxe

 
They usually would have done the update by now.  Two weeks ago, the site was unreachable by most people around this time.  Oh well, can try again tomorrow!

 
Honestly the biggest problems with the site would be solved if they tripled the cost of games. Less site traffic, less selling out in 15 minutes, etc.

You'd have to pick what you need and not just be El hoardo and flip ones yout didn't really want. Sad thing is that it's unfair to new people but that's kinda the problem of being new I guess.

As it is now I've had enough points to buy every release so far...

I think what they really need to do is bring back the Advocate status. Let the people that have stuck with the site longer get first dibs at the new stuff.

Do they ever re-verify peoples employment? I know some that have access to the site that haven't worked retail in almost a year.

They usually only have around 200 or so of the non-exclusive titles. That means new people would never get their hands on them. Great for veterans, but how would you move up in tenure if no one ever leaves the site/program?

Nobody has to leave. Advocate status was given to anybody who logged into the site at least once a month for six consecutive months. It would weed out the people who sign up and get verified for the site just a few weeks for a major release.

 
They have nothing to change. The site works, the quiz material works, and maybe 1.09% on the Time that we all hammer the site it is a great knowledgebase.

To be fair we're all being unrealistic. That would be a terrible idea to gate prizes by account age, why would anyone new ever want to use the site again.

Let's also agree that we are wasting precious time in our lives refreshing a browser window. We get these games for $5-$10 we need to be humble and not get upset about what time games go up.

I'm at work so not really 'wasting' my time. Maybe the companies, lol! But yeah, I like the site a lot. Very thankful my Playstation rep showed it to me.

I agree with this. While I was on vacation I missed Uncharted and more (in the back of my head knowing that it would go up but wanted to enjoy my time off away from tech). If I miss a game or 6 I'm okay with that as long as someone else gets to play it. With the hundreds if not thousands of dollars this program has saved me over the years... spending $60 bucks here and there really isn't that bad. No one here is entitled to $5 games...

 
Well I'm winding down my refreshing.. Which means there will be an update soon and I'm gonna miss it lol

The "How many collectibles are available in the game?" is a bit busted looking.

Failed 1 Question, no extra 50 for me. eh, it happens. 

 
Doesn't look like a catalog update today. No reason for anyone to bother logging in today. And you know what? Take tomorrow off too everyone. You deserved it.

It will give the 1st one fully "CheapAssHustla liked your comment" but then it will be all "2 updates"

A bit annoying because I would like to be able to continue reading it on my pebble time without having to pull my phone out for each comment.

Sweet! If you turn off modifications for other threads, you'll only see updates for this thread. I see your point though.

That might kill your battery if you have it on vibrate, lol. The most updates you'll get from this thread is during an update so you should be fine.
