Just finished Layers of Fear Inheritence DLC. Enjoyed the original, DLC was more of the same ... but it just didn't seem to wow me like the original. Pacing seemed off ...

Also, beware. Was playing Trials Blood Dragon yesterday and Ubisoft servers were down for several hours. During that time I got A grades on several of the later levels. The game warns you via a pop up window that your grades will not be saved and leaderboards will be unavail. But apparently, that includes saving your grades locally as well. Because when the servers came back up, I showed the levels as completed ... but no credit for gettting A grades. fuck that! ... seriously???

Is the marketplace still where if you're gamesharing but one console is in the preview the other console won't get the purchased content?

Dont waste your money. I bought the season pass and I don't think the studio is gonna put any of the content out. The game bombed so hard. I'm thinking of asking for a refund for the SP if they can't deliver on what they promised.
 
I noticed Homefront already hit $9.99 in the latest Gamefly sale. Not even worth that to me.

Dear Esther is launching at $9.99. Now I have 4 weeks to debate if I'd like to spend that much Day One or wait for a sale.....

A Frontier account that you could literally make in seconds within the Xbox.. are ya that lazy? And what do you mean no save? It saves the game at any point you want. You can pause it all you want too. You might be thinking of the multiplayer aspect of it, in which case I wouldn't count on a pause option for that either but you could easily sit at a hangar for hours and no one would be able to bother you.

Kind of lame reasons not to try a game but hey if you're that lazy that you can't create a Frontier account then maybe a grindy game like this really isn't for you.

I could create an account (don't know where you got the impression I couldn't), but I shouldn't have to. I'm tired of too many games requiring yet another account to just play the damn thing. It sounds like you can't create separate saves, like Fallout for example. That's not really a deal killer, but it is annoying. I was just stating what I read about when looking in to the game, and it doesn't sound like something I'd want to spend $36 on. I'm sure you have plenty of "lame" reasons for not playing games you do, too. I have too many games and not enough time for most grindy games anymore.

And maybe you noticed I said "not for me", not "it's a bad game". You are allowed to enjoy it as much as you want, my opinion doesn't (nor should it) diminish your enjoyment. So maybe chill out with the defensive crap and calling me lazy?

For the record, though, I am actually lazy, but not for the reasons you listed. :razz:

I've seen that video like 3 times already and everytime I keep thinking that people are just excited about the foxy boxing, which I'm pretty sure you could get way more of elsewhere for $10. I don't think Timesplitters is worth having to walk around in Homefront land to start it, even as low as $3.50 (damn Loch Ness Monster).

So two of my friends have Forza 6 and do not have 5 or Horizons 2, which I have, so of course the free weekend of F6 is on a weekend I have to work graveyards! Womp womp.

I was excited for that f2p Lies of Astraratthroath game, thinking it would be a Hearthstone knock off, but omg that game is stupid. Wtf is with only being able to play cards drawn in previous rounds?

I don't have the game but I want it so bad. I don't get paid till right after the sale ends on the 30th. Stupid Department of Veteran Affairs.
That being said, for those that are interested in the game, I'd go with the Deluxe Version for a little bit more as it gives you access to Horizons irrc. It is the better deal and gives you more bang for you buck.

Also, I got the email for the Pit People beta as well. I am ready...

I'm not following. Forza Horizon isn't currently BC. I got a system notification from TrueAchievements yesterday that it was "now" BC, but it just linked to their news story about the Sept GwG and it hasn't shown up in my Ready to Install list. Got another one for Joust today, and that one is in my list.

 
In regard to Elite Dangerous, I've read both from those who love it and those who bemoan the repetitious nature of the game. That said, for those who enjoy the game, is it a worthwhile purchase for someone who occasionally enjoys a stress-free game? Is it possible to just have a game where you transport legal goods from system to system, simply enjoying the scenery?

 
So I did that Instant On Keep My Xbox Updated feature for almost 2 days in a row. I went from 152 items that needed to be updated to like under 20 items left. We have ATT Internet only and I realized they have a stupid limit of 600gb monthly usage. Luckily I checked online and I'm at 500gb and it should reset next month. I stopped Instant On Keep My Xbox Updated feature until it resets. They just recently updated it from 600gb to 1tb, so that's better. But it's kinda dumb they have limits for our plan which is 45mpbs. We have to choose the 1gb speed or bundle tv with Internet to get unlimited, no thanks. I think once my Xbox is up to date we won't even reach 1tb in a monthly basis.

Yeah my Xfinity went from 300 GB to 1tb and I literally don't have to worry about it anymore. I'll be switching to Google Fiber once my contract is up. It sucked when I had the 300gb cap to always have to check my usage before I downloaded a game

This is my life. Not sure if I'll get WWE in this month or have to wait. I even took one of my XB1s on vacation since I had unlimited internet access and downloaded about 500 GBs worth of stuff lol.

This is my favorite thing about Google Fiber. It's quick, and I don't have to deal with caps anymore.

 
Man these Xbox Play Days is such a smart idea by Microsoft. Downloaded Forza 6 just to check it out and I'm kinda hooked and am considering buying it now. My wallet says no but my mind is saying do it.

It's possible but keep in mind that this is not a casual game. It's a sim with a pretty steep learning curve.

It all ends up being a wash. It has the opposite effect on me. Free play confirms to me that I was right in saving my money and NOT buying these games. There has never been a free play where I went, dang, I really want to buy this. It has always been the opposite.

If you like driving in circles, then yeah, I can see Forza being fun. I literally nodded off during a race yesterday (it had 8 laps..zzzzzzzz) and the multiplayer is a BS waste of time. Unless someone is horrible or makes a huge mistake, your final standing in the race is pretty much determined by where you are initially placed at the start line. If I start in 8th place, I usually end the race in that general position. It's pretty hard to fall behind if you are somewhat decent, but it is also really hard to gain ground if others are also somewhat decent.
