The Walking Dead: Michonne - 2 episodes done, 1 to go.

It's really good, IMHO. If you liked the past two Telltale's TWD games, you're going to dig this. It seems like w/ each TWD game, the amount of puzzles gets both lower + weaker; and that there are more quick-time events + action sequences with each TWD game they put out.

As usual - decision-making stuff; the brutality of violence; being immersed into the experience to be forced to actually emulate with the controller + feel the actual important actions taking place; and the story & character development stuff is excellent. If you're playing this game, it really should be for these reasons.

If you didn't like any of the Telltale TWD games or that TWD Season 2 went more so in the direction of having less adventure elements with the puzzle stuff + more action - eh, TWD: Michonne probably won't convert you into liking this.

Oh, and I never quite figured out the gun system in Home front. I bought a whole bunch of attachments but could never figure out how to actually use any of them. Was trying to use them to make my battle rifle into a sniper, but maybe I needed to upgrade out first?

Open up the weapon wheel; highlight gun you want to customize; open up weapon customization section; mouse-click the correct piece to switch out attachments/alternate gun pieces.

EDIT:

You can skip right to weapon customization w/ that hot-key and go from there.

Of course, make sure you buy the alternate weapons/pieces/equipment first...of course.

Thanks! Here I was trying to do it at the gunsmith lockers, but that would make too much sense. I was distracted when they gave me first gun, so I probably missed it.

Hey - no problem, bro.

EDIT:

Oh, also - key 0 (at the top of the keyboard w/ the other numbers listed in a row from left-to-right, not the 0 on the number-pad on the right) holsters your gun, too.

IIRC, it ain't told in-game - but they actually tell you in the damn loading screens.

Nonsense, I already have 8mb. It supports 3D graphics and 16.7 million colors.

Paying an extra hundred bucks diminishes the excitement considerably.
wait, an extra hundred bucks versus what? the only card you can get for around $280 is a 970, and the 1070 far outperforms that. i'm not trying to be mister economics major here, but if people are willing to pay x for y object, then THAT'S the price. no extra money being spent anywhere.

Versus the hyped MSRP which was in the $370 range versus the $470+ it actually costs today. I don't know where you're getting $280 from.

And yeah, duh, if it says $470 then that's the price. What it is not, however, is the price that was being marketed to drum up news about the card. Which was my point -- the buzz was over the performance coming from a $370 card, not a $470 one. This isn't someone reselling $30 Cabbage Patch Dolls for $150, this is retail pricing.

I'm not saying anyone is being evil here or is in the wrong. Was just an idle observation about what I saw when I was browsing.

Blade Ballet steam keys were sent out, from the gleam giveaway the other day. There were over 10k entries and 5k copies were given away.. so there's a chance you didn't get one.

Woo, I won.

There were 10k entries, 5k copies, but each person could get around 5 entries, so there could've been as little as 2000 people entered.

bundlestars bundlefest has bundlebegan

Same old bundles, batman pick n mix, nothin wow. Im guessing alot of people probably got an extra 10% off coupon email, so if you are tempted make sure to check if you got one first

ViP coupon also claims it can be used several times, but must be on the same email.

Well, I wound up buying HF:R.  Not 100% sure why except that I guess I was enjoying it, would continue playing it and figure what's the point of have triple-digit Steam wallet if I refuse to ever spend any of it.
