Fallout 4 world hasn't reached that "exciting exploring," moment yet for me at all, FO3 had that but 4 I'm just ehh on the world so far (granted still under 10 hours in). The streamlining isn't as bad as people made it out, though I could see it losing shine later in the game.
FO4 is essentially FO3 with a different leveling system and much better shooting. It's pretty easily my least favorite of the modern fallouts, but not so much because of the "streamlining" as it is other areas (voiced protagonist, atmosphere, soundtrack, dialogue system, creativity of the quests, exploration) where I just prefer NV/FO3. Boston didn't really do it for me...it was too dense. I didn't feel like I was exploring so much as just shuffling in and out of buildings. Just a gazillion samey apartments and stores to go into and shoot raiders without many interesting locations scattered in.

Jumped into the Steep beta for a bit. Very pretty game. One of the more engaging winter sports games Ive ever played, but I find it hard to justify a $60 price point for it. It has a bit of depth in the amount of things you can do in it sport wise and it obviously destroys that game Snow on Steam. It seems like a typical very flashy game but once you get below the surface the gameplay will get old unless you're playing it with people regularly. Definitely will play a bit more and again in the open beta later in the month, but buying it is a stretch right now. Seems like a wait til 50% title.

I just can't bring myself to be excited for the pro. The whole situation reminds me of when I had a multi gpu setup and that was so damn annoying.
There are a few things I like about it, but it's definitely not very exciting. I mostly bought it because I have no self-control after I get highly caffeinated and I've been drinking a lot of coffee this week.

On the Fallout 4 topic, I liked the improvements in the gunplay but the setting, characters, and story were not particularly engaging. I actually had to use my imagination to enjoy myself, and I hate using my imagination.

But you know what game is really good? Infinite Warfare! The campaign held its own against the other top shooters this year, and that's really saying something. Plus, I cried at the end.

Well, sure, but my point is that you probably didn't have a choice afterwards. . . .
The food was good through, I didn't have a upset stomach
I bought a PS4 Slim for half as much, and I'm pretty ok with it as dumb box that plays games that aren't on PC.
I bought a ps4 phat and I'm happy with it too.

I've been using mine for console exclusives and cheap games.
I picked up Assassin's Creed Unity Limited Edition comes with a bonus mission at five and below for $5 today.

I bought a PS4 Pro, as well, but it was with a new TV and got a discount and a free copy of Uncharted 4. Haven't played it yet, but I like Sony exclusives... I am a sucker, will prob fakey The Last Guardian...

... even if it blows. No Man's Sky, 2016...

Hm. No, Trump is a Trump. He's not going to govern like a Democrat. The country will be moving further to the right in terms of policy because he will surround himself with actual Republicans and let them do what they want about most things. He only gives a rat's ass about fiscal policy and he'll be pushing fiscal policies that enrich himself and his family. Yes, as a country, we'll probably survive, assuming that he doesn't engage us in some kind of foreign policy nightmare that leads to World War III (and no, I'm not kidding--it could happen).
Trump doesn't care about wealth anymore. He cares about his legacy. He beat all his rich buddies, both those he likes and those he despises, when he won the Presidency. Once he's sworn in, he's the most powerful and important person in the world. That beats any amount of wealth because the scoreboard for the Presidency will only have 44 other names in it when he's sworn in. He 'beat the game'. The only thing left to settle is how high he is up on the scoreboard, and that will be determined by what he does as President. Either way, he is forever part of American History, giving him a lasting legacy in history long after he's dead.

Trump doesn't care about wealth anymore.
You seriously believe that? LOL If there's one thing we can be absolutely sure that this man cares about, its money. Here's a fact: Trump has holdings in the Dakota Access Pipeline company (look it up). One of his FIRST ACTS is to remove all impediments to this pipeline. There's a reason why we didn't see his taxes and its not just because of the fact he pays little to none. No, he doesn't care about money at all. His taxes are as much a national security issue as they are a conflict of interest one. He's also 100M in debt to the Bank of China for building loans (i.e. the Trump building in Vancouver was entirely financed by China through loans he took out). And its also known he has holdings in Russia. Nah, Donald is so over money. He's already the most corrupt President we've ever had and he's not even been inaugurated yet.

If he cared about legacy, his first appointment wouldn't be hiring a white supremacist as Chief Strategic Officer.

He cares about power. If his legacy gets in the way of power, he will damn his legacy. His history in life shows no reason why anyone should believe or think anything else and legitimizing a proven bigot with a very influential role in the WH shows how he wants his legacy to begin.

Its on the front page but not sure how many people go through there...  I sort of rarely do.

Anyhow, Wal-Mart as Titanfall 2 (for PC) for $29.96...  Obviously with BF coming soon not sure if thats a sucker price or not.  Your likely looking at paying sales tax but I think they have a free shipping to stores.

Ewww!  Origin!

I dunno about you, but I'm going to wait on TFall2 PC.

As great as the TFall2 campaign supposed to be, it seems short (i.e. 4-7 hours) and I didn't get much mileage out of the awesome but lacking content TFall1 PC MP (which thankfully, I won base-game in a contest and spent $0 on base-game + got the SP when it was free), probably since it seemed everybody played Attrition and nothing else.

Yeah, I'm going to sound like a Democratic talking head here, but this is a point well-made, so I'll say it anyway: because Trump refused to release his returns, no one outside of his accountants, the IRS, and himself actually knows a) what he's really worth and b) to whom he has business ties or owes money. It isn't a trivial concern, because there could be many conflicts-of-interest embedded in this information that the public will never know about.

His answer to potential conflicts: he's putting his company in the hands of his family. There. That magically takes away all of the prospective influence that someone might have over him by working with his former company. What the hell was I ever worried about?

Haven't seen any CAGBros really excited for TF2. I mean I've heard a few good reviews but not enough to think there'd even be 4 of us playing it. BF1 on the other hand I've heard plenty and would be something I could see myself playing even without CAGbros. Here's to hoping Wal-mart does a $30 price for that one too in it's lead up to BF.

Also, yes, we've basically finally combined our government with corporate interests with Trump in power. Which is funny considering how much those blue collar idiots wanted an outsider and a change and someone to get them good paying jobs with a high-school education. Now, government choices will be guided by Trump's corporate interests, he has the epitome of a Washington DC Insider for his Chief of Staff, and he'll probably bankrupt the country building a wall. Fun times for all.

Hidden for the politics adverse:
Trump has no idea what he's doing. He's putting his inner circle into roles because he literally has no idea who else to put there because he has no knowledge of the political world. He doesn't know which governor or attorney general or some other government figure would be best for his cabinet and the people he does have around him all want the spots for themselves so no one is going to say "Actually, the previous governor of Arkansas would have a great portfolio for this position". His circle is split between a gallery of has-beens desperate to cling to relevancy (Gingrich, Giuliani, etc) and business/family types with zero government skill (Bannon, Carson, the kids, etc). Trump's son-in-law asked during the transition meeting which of Obama's White House staff would be staying on, treating it like acquiring a company and completely unaware that everyone except the gardeners and maids were headed out the door. And, yes, government figures tend to be best for most of these roles because they are administrative; Health & Human Services isn't a medical role, it's a bureaucratic one.

In other news, RSS (R6S?) has been fun although I'm also kind of terrible and have yet to successfully complete a Lone Wolf mission. I notice that there's a few attachment options for the weapons and that's it for "advancements" -- I actually need to become a better player to win. What kind of world are we living in?

Titanfall 2 is one of the best action games I've ever played, but it's also dropping in price pretty fast, so if you weren't dying to play it you might as well wait. But if you want an exhilarating single player campaign you're not going to be disappointed.

Meanwhile, if you voted for Trump and somehow thought he was just joking around with all that racism, sexism, and anti-semitism, now that he has appointed Steve Bannon as his top strategist...well, the joke's on you, you fucks!

Part of it is also a bit of luck. Which adds to the replayability of RSS. Like that time the rest of the terrorists just ran up to you at the end to be shot or the time I was able to just bumrush the extraction point with the hostage. So you can do vastly different on the same mission/scenario depending on the time you play. That said, I tend to be shit at bomb diffusing no matter the play through.

Hmmm, the TF2 SP campaign praise probably will put it closer to the $15 buy price to me then.

Peter Cullen does voice work in it so I'm sort of curious to see how he does... but like you I feel I should wait as I'm sure I will really suck and not like the MP too much.

Hell, I just bought Rainbow Six Siege so I certainly don't think I need another MP shooter that I might suck at... :D/

Actually theres not much luck at all, theres a definite pattern. I have friends who do clan play who run through 'realistic' mode in terrorist hunt by themselves because they know the pattern that the terrorists come out at (which is some convoluted series of various types of guys at different times)

Also the guys running up at the end, they will always do that when you get down to the last 3, any left over guys you didnt find before will start looking for you

That's interesting. Maybe I've been projecting my own randomness thinking it was the game. Or more likely, I'm not patient enough to really find a pattern. I can never tell where the suiciders will be or when they'll pop up and it certainly feels sometimes like they find you no matter where you breach in a level.

Is that the Transformers guy? Are they trying to pretend it's a Transformers game and not just a game that happens to have giant mechs in it?

Unfortunately, whether we voted for him or not, the joke is on all of us.

If you added Tumblestone Demo to your Steam Account, it now gives +1 and card drops. Time to idle before they fix this again. (it happen before too, but was fixed quickly). On side note you need to add a game before game count gets updated and drops enabled.

I keep getting emails from Amazon.fr.  This week they're about their noir fridei sales or whatever Black Friday is in French.  Thanks spoder.  All for a game we haven't even bro nighted.

Speaking of which, is Dangerous Golf getting replaced?  Mean Greens on Weds. and Hurtworld on Thurs. with Dead By Daylight on Fri. for you casual bros who might be interested.  I think next week we're taking Thurs. off so everyone can eat their turkey or mourning bird as I call it in current times, unless people are hankering for an excuse to get away from family then we can schedule something.

Sounds like a winner.  The new HF:R co-op mission is pretty decent.  It's like a "best of" of the different mission types: a short base infiltration, a short vehicle escort, a short fight then work your way through a parking garage doing small waves with an assassination target in each one.  Mixes up nicely without wearing out its welcome.

Yes, he's Optimus Prime (among other characters in the series) if that's who you consider to be the "Transformers Guy" but he has done other things... His other big well known character is Eeyore (Winnie the Poo) after 1990. As for your other question... I suspect no they aren't trying to make it a Transformers game but he was likely on a short list of dream candidates.
