The other $15 code eventually showed available for me after I checked a million times this afternoon. Got Digimon Cyber Sleuth for $15 yesterday and Spiritfarer for $20 today. Quite happy.

I use my only account, switching regions in it (so I went to Mexico, got CRASH, then changed to Russia and got Sundered; now I'm back in USA). The only thing you need to bare in mind is that there should not be any balance in your account (as Nintendo will not let you switch if so). Gold coins is fine; they stay put on each region, waiting for you when you decide to come back :)
You have to not have an active subscription to change regions, correct? I used a browser VPN and also scrolled to the bottom and selected "Change Region" on the website, but it still displayed prices in USD. When I tried changing my account region, it said I have active subscriptions.

Might have my Hispanic cousin make an account for this...

Idk what do you mean by active subscription? You mean online membership? If so, it doesn't matter; I have one and can surf the world without any problems. You don't change the region in the browser as that's just the website viewership, you need to change it inside your profile settings (nintendo.com > click in your profile picture > click in Settings icon > click in the first Change button that shows up on the right side panel to change your Region info).

That's what I tried doing, and this is what it displays:

But the good news is that it's very simple to create a new account. My Hispanic cousin used Google SSO to create a new one in the Mexico region, then logged into my Switch to authenticate. Then he bought 12 Labours of Hercules IV for 7 cents, Snowboarding The Next Phase for 8 cents, Gnome More War for 26 cents, and High Noon Revolver for 27 cents. He says thanks for the post.

Ah! Because of the automatic renewal! I did not know that! I have my automatic renewal disabled, that's why I don't have my problems with it. Good to know.

And you are very welcome Blade :)

Guess they're digging into their smaller IP back catalogue to start filling in gaps in their release schedule. Wonder if Dr. Kawashima for Switch will finally get a US release.

I hope nobody here paid extra for the early access for Sonic Colors, because it seems to be very buggy:

Maybe there's a launch update to fix things, but it might be worth holding off on that to see if it gets better anytime soon.

Woah, is this the new season of X-Files?

I just beat Undertale on the Switch last night. I'm hearing-impaired and did not hear the music, so maybe I missed out on a crucial element. But I really, really didn't get the hype for that game. The characters were amusing sometimes, and I smiled a couple times. I found it mostly a chore. Anyone else?

The music absolutely helps to get everything with this game, so I'm really sorry you couldn't experience that.

In all fairness though, I can see where you'd get that opinion. Did you go pacifist, neutral, or genocide?

I’ve played a couple hours of it on Switch and so far I pretty much agree. I think the lack of an actual “widescreen” format threw me off at first, I love retro games though so I got used to that pretty quickly. I enjoy the quirkiness and the humor in the game, so I can’t put my finger on what’s missing for me. There’s nothing I really dislike about it, I’m going to probably go back to it or start a new game eventually.

It's a great game that's been severely overblown, so I'd say it's easy to be underwhelmed by it if you go in with massive expectations.

That said, I really enjoy it and think it's fantastic.

I think I ended up with the neutral ending in Undertale. I spared yellow creatures when I figured out I probably was supposed to be doing that. I had read the music really added to the experience, but I only heard some at the end battles, which probably didn't portray the full experience.

I love retro games also, especially turn-based RPGs, so I expected to Undertale more.

When you look the game up on Metacritic, it's raving 90's across the board, for the most part. I expected something quite life-changing. I kept expecting it to get better and to find a wow-factor.

Moved on and am playing Culdcept Revolt on 3DS, and enjoying much more.

What's the best article or youtube video I can show a friend to get game sharing working on both our switches? A youtube vid I watched said something about havimy to turn off airplane mode or something. Don't I just have to add him as a user with his ID and password and then make it my secondary and he makes it his main or vice versa? Almost like Playstation and Xbox?

Primary Switch: Your account can launch any game offline or online and can play them without limit.

Secondary Switch: Your account can only launch games when you have an online connection. If you go offline (like on a plane or subway), you cannot Switch to another game. And if you don’t get a connection to re-validate your account within three hours, the game automatically closes.

Thank you but that article is way too wordy. Pretty much just need a straight to the point article or YouTube video. I have seen a couple of YouTube videos but not all of them have the exact same information so not sure if they are misinformed or if I need to find the absolute newest one. Or if someone here can just make it as easy as possible that would be fine too.

I know that we each need to know each other's email and passwords. I know that we have to deregister from our primary accounts. Then I think we each login with each other's info and then log back into our accounts and it should work. I think anyway. That's why I need an article or YouTube guide for him.

It's pretty straight forward. Sign in on each other's system and whichever account is set to the primary account doesn't need to be online and the account set to secondary needs to be online to use consistently. So decide which account you want to be the primary/secondary. You can only be signed in on two switches so if you or your friend has multiple then it won't work also. Maybe this link will help?

Yeah, that was better but the vids and articles that show exactly where to go on the shop to deactivate and go step by step is what I am looking for. Do you gameshare?

Has the game trial for Daemon X Machina been confirmed for the USA as well?  I've been trying to figure out what to keep and what to get rid of from my older game collection so haven't been on my switch in the past couple weeks.   If we are getting that too for a full week, I might shift back to switch for the week and give it a try and if I like it then push to finish it during the trial.

Not an all time low but I see Empire of Sin is down to $15.99 on the eshop. Reviews are mediocre but I've been interested for awhile now and had 349 coins to spend.

Played it on Game Pass … fun game, but a number of glitches on Xbox. I would imagine the Switch version might have some performance issues compared to consoles and pc. Hopefully the developers are continuing to roll out updates. I’m hoping to pick it up at the $10 or less price point if it drops that low closer to BF.

Over on another site I frequent, those that took advantage have had their orders cancelled by target as this was a pricing error in their system.
Same here, just got an email from Target saying my order had been cancelled. Just ordered this morning about 2.5 hours ago. Shame, would've been a great price.

Yeah, great price and it's an excellent game. I bought it when it came out. At first it felt a bit like a letdown as I didn't immediately get how to do everything... but once it clicked it became an amazing experience. The sense of speed is intoxicating. If you want a slightly arcade racing game where you go from point A to B with the option to take the occasional shortcut using real cars... this is the best the switch has to offer.

I got an email saying that my order was ready for pickup while I was at work today, but I ordered the game at 6 a.m. when I got up for work, so I think that they had already charged my card by the time they fixed it. But I love finding these types of glitches when they happen. :bouncy:

I was wondering if you could use Bluetooth headphones and that answers my question. I've been playing re zero and I put my wired headphones in because of als voice work being so quiet.

That is one game I have always wondered how well it would hold up today.
Even though the gameplay would feel very stiff today (it was clunky even when it came out) I think it would also feel pretty novel since there's nothing like it that has been released in years. It's interesting that with all the retro games that come out year after year there isn't much that has tapped into that era of gaming, especially since we've reached a saturation point where all the retro/indie stuff is feeling so same-y. I can't say that I'm sorry that the sequel failed to get funded a few years back since I think it would have been awful but I would like to see this remastered so it's available for modern audiences. If anyone but Nintendo owned the rights it would probably at least be on Steam or GOG by now.

I'd kill for some indie Mario RPGs as that's not a tapped market to my knowledge besides the one paper Mario like title.

It'd be nice to get another game like grandia as well.

And while newer I thought the Steven universe and adventure time titles were a blast minus the bugs. I read that they made a 3rd Steven universe game but it's apple tv whatever exclusive which sucks
