This "first" post will have current KS campaigns that are currently live and I am following or backed. Obviously this is all very subjective since I started this forum, but feel free to mention others that might be of interest. Obviously I am sticking towards video/ board games, but always open to suggestions.

Also another good site to check for Board Games is Gamefound

I have no idea how I missed this one from the beginning of it's campaign. Mix of Stardew Valley and Pokemon. I did add it to the main posting above.

Although no idea how Nintendo doesn't send a cease a desist order especially considering that the 200K stretch goal is for a switch version.

The dev did Littlewood https://store.steampowered.com/app/894940/Littlewood/ and Magicite https://store.steampowered.com/app/268750/Magicite/ If wanted to check out previous games.

I think it’s different enough to not get hit by Nintendo, especially with Nexomon on Switch.

In other news (coming back to the one that started it all... EGM released the digital archive version for the Compendium. I got a code yesterday. Still have not looked at it. Battling with myself if I want to check it out or wait for the physical book.

I had a chance to quickly checkout the EGM archive, and it's really cool. Yes, I got the book, but once they add downloading, I'll probably download every issue lol
It does make me wonder how BIG the final product is going to be

The surveys went out and I saw in their quesitons they are checking the temperature if they (EGM) were to come back as a regular magazine in some form.

lol yeah that's a good point. Going through the archive, I almost forgot how many ads any given issue had. I'd speculate almost half an issue is ads (which are in the archive, and cool to revisit). Before Game Informer folded, I was amazed they only had two, maybe three ads in the entire issue.

I just filled out the survey too. I'd be down for a monthly, or even bi-monthly EGM again.

I said would be good for a quarterly. Here's the thing I recall with EGM and Game Informer. When I would get the magazines (in the mail); I would usually read the thing from cover to cover within a week. Maybe re-visit them, but they felt really shallow and this was also before everything was on the internet (yes, I'm old). Don't even get me started on the waste that was (imo) Game Infarcer.

Now I subscribe to Edge magazine and I am shocked with how much information there is in each issue.

i used to read every article and every page cover to cover to. GamePro, EGM, game informer, Nintendo power, OPM. I had so many magazines growing up and many tossed with moving. I did keep collectors editions and OPM demo discs. Especially launch issues and 100th issue prints.

Don't know how I forgot about OPM! What a time when you would get demos on a disc. I know the digital store fronts have demos now, but something altogether different/ unique to open a magazine and get that disc!

I also feel like the phrase "pro tip" originated in GamePro. I could be wrong 🙃

Found a new KS

The Complete SNES - Collector's Book (Limited Dust Sleeve)

Altough tbh I couldn't recommend this book more: Super Nintendo Anthology (Geeks Line Publishing). I have their NES Antholgy and it is impressive from a information and quality standpoint (and yes, I backed their PS2 Anthology)

Have Animation Versus and Monsterpatch both ending in a couple of days.

Still on the fence on both of these. I love the Animation series on the web, but I tend to get bored with fighting games in 5 minutes (that and the "release"date being 2028). Monsterpatch is very intriguing, but don't think I will ever play it or sink enough time into it to make it worthwhile...

$20 for Monsterpatch seems worth it for all three versions of the game. I backed it. I am sure I will forget about it so when it does release, it will be a nice surprise.

The nice little surprise comment pushed me over the edge. Now just have to decide if I get a Steam Deck key and let this get buried with all of my backlog or Switch key and actually use my Switch (and prolong it's life)?

I only notice this because I update the main posting everyday, but The Abxylute One Pro dropped over 200% from yesterday. Wonder why so many are cancelling their pledges?

Could it be one major donation fell off or could it be people are worried about tariffs? I have noticed a lot more talk around board game/ physical items being affected (or is it effected? can nver keep that straight)?
