I picked up two last week from the local EB. I have no regrets. My friend and I played the original a lot. This version is just as good if not better. I have yet to unlock everything but it seems like a more complete game. The mechanics haven't changed a bit.

How does the controller work? What kind of input does it take? Can it be ripped off of the controller and used seperately?
