I think it's just an odd Easter closing for a small portion of stores since I haven't seen other days of the week show as closed yet.

There are about 5700 pre-owned XSX available at gamestop.com. Compared to about 1100 ps5 slim disc and 10k original ps5 disc systems.

It does look like a lot of the locations are in malls, so it could be a mall specific closure for Easter.

That thought crossed my mind, but why would only 10% of stores show as closed? Will see if more closed days show over the next couple days. These closures would bring the store count to just above 2000.

Not going to post the list yet, as I need to verify if data is accurate, but if it is, 228 more stores closing this weekend. They all currently show being closed on Sunday on GameStop Store Locator, but I'm seen false positives like this before and then it switches back.

I think official policy is no preorders on pokemon cards, so you have to just go to store and compete with people waiting overnight on release day. I don't follow it that closely, so it may have changed recently.
