I was at my friend’s grandma’s house for Christmas Eve, and she kindly gave me two gift cards, one for Wal-Mart and one for JCPenney. I don’t shop at either of these places (like, ever), so I was thinking of going out on Boxing Day for some deals. (Do they even have electronics at JCPenney?)
But, I didn’t want to do any such thing without being armed with CAG advice! Are there any deals I should be aware of? Am I better off using the gift cards in the store, or online? Is Boxing Day really the best day to do this? Does Wal-Mart really test its gift cards on baby rabbits, confirming my suspicions? Is there anything else I should know when scouring the desolate post-Christmas retail landscape for gaming deals, armed with but my wits and my gift cards (which I prefer to call “company scrip”)?
