Ever been out by Mitsuwa? There's a large Japanese shopping center out in Arlington Heights with a big grocery store and a book store inside.
There used to be a toy store but they moved it outside the main building and now its called "Japanese Toys and Gifts" or something like that.

I haven't been there in a few years, but I believe everything was on/near Arlington Heights Road.

estarland.com is awesome. They have a pretty wide selection of figures, import games, and US games too. Generally, it takes them a little longer than other sites to get the newest figures, but their service is great. The best part: if you have anything you want to get rid of (games, DVD's, accessories), they accept trade-in's! (and give pretty good prices...better than GS or EB's crappy trade-in prices).

Oh, and they have that fig you want for pre-order...and it's $33.95! Much cheaper than other sites I've seen. Personally, I'd rather get this upcoming figure:

EDIT: nevermind, it's supposed to come 8/07. It was the black kasumi (what others bought), I thought it was the one I've seen in stores for a lower price.
