Anybody pre-order bully: scholarship edition from Amazon?

I pre-ordered mine around the end of January, and I just got an e-mail telling me that my shipment was delayed (it was supposed to be delivered today or tomorrow) to next Tuesday. I even had two day shipping on this... bah!

That's how Amazon has been for the last year and a half on nearly all game pre-orders. However their delay estimates are generally wrong (overestimated) and you often get the game sooner than the estimation they give.

I remember complaining when they were over a week late on shipping Civ IV (the game was in stores and they still hadn't shipped), I complained about not being able to cancel my order since it was in the "processing" stage and they upgraded my shipping to overnight and refunded my initial shipping costs. When Amazon screws up they're very good about making it right if you contact them.

And I'm also not happy that Bully is being released with a $50 price tag. :(

That's good to hear. Maybe I'll give that a try. And, you really think $50 is too steep for the game? At least it's cheaper than most 360 debuts... there's a lot of stinkers being revealed at the $60 price point. Sure, it's a "last gen" game, but it looks like a worthy transition to the next gen lineup, imo! They rebuilt the engine so it would look great in HD.

Well I was going to get it on the Wii, in which the $50 price is equal to a "regular" release. I might get it on the 360, though, I haven't made up my mind yet. What's probable is that I'll get it for whichever system I find a used copy for first. I'm not in a big hurry to get any game with brawl coming out in a few days.

Is there any difference in this and the PS2 version? Besides graphically

Edit: NVM I see IGN has a review up that explains it

This. NEVER preorder from Amazon. Simply order the game the moment they list it as "In Stock."

I avoided Rock Band and turned down the GTA4 license plate for this reason.

It's worth paying tax to get the game in hand.
