Anybody?

I'm thinking about ordering one of these but the Linguica Sausage, Italian Salami is making me second guess it.

Sicilian Meats Pizza

Sicilian Meats is topped with Italian salami, pepperoni, sliced linguica and spicy Italian sausage.

Push comes to shove I'll only be out $16.99 but I was just wondering if any of our PJ fans have tried it yet.

Oh well, I won't bump it but I will post my reaction to it.

If you dig the Spicy Italian then you will like this pizza. It's not better then it but it's a good pizza to check out if you're looking for a change.

The salami and linguica are actually surprisingly good.

if it's spicey, I'm all for it. The problem with me is that overly greasy pizza can do a number on my diabetes (no, not fat ass person type of diabetes, but juvinile type) but papa johns isn't as greasy as Pizza Hut, so I'd love to get one.
It does look good, though I'm not a salami fan.
You really can't taste it unless you take a bite with just salami.

The pepperoni, sliced linguica and spicy Italian sausage just overpower it.

well, I know for a fact uncooked peperroni pretty much overpowers most foods and the spicey italian sausage probably plays a big part into it as well.

That's basically why I said it wasn't better then the Spicy Italian.

It does have a different taste but it is still just too similar to the SI

Oh, if you're thinking about ordering, the online ordering has a coupon code that gives you a free large 1 topping if you buy a extra large speciality at menu price.

GRANDPARENTS

Mine came out to 21.60 after a 2 dollar tip.

Yeah, I haven't tried it yet, but I've seen ads for it, but it just looks and sounds like a horrible idea.

On this Pappa John's pizza I would think that the linguica and salami would make it too greasy.

We do a pizza called "El Carne" which is dough, garlic oil, marinara, mozz, grilled chicken, pepperoni, italian sausage and chopped bacon. Damn tasty.

how can pizza be bad?

maybe the problem isn't the pizza... maybe the problem is you.

A friend of mine use to work at Dominos and whenever he went on break he'd make himself his own type of pizzas. His favorite was what he would call "The Farmer's Special" where it was impossible to see any pizza due the the thick amounts of meats on the thing... heck, it didnt even qualify as pizza.

if you are gonna order from PJs, use BOGO for promo code to get 1 free (equal or lesser value). At least FW is good for something.

Have you tried it? It looks really good to me, but I like square pizzas, meat, and greasy pizza hut pizza.

Usually the problem is me, however, not in this case.

Rubbery crust + slimy ricotta cheese + about a pound of sausage does not equal a good pizza. My wife and I ordered one, ate one piece each and decided to throw it away. And believe me, I don't believe in throwing away food.

I use to do that too when i use to work for Pizza Hutt a long time ago. Only I use to put a SHIT load of cheese ... There is a reason why extra cheese is only a half a cup instead of a full cup because all that cheese would be really really heavy on the crust and therefore the pizza would collapes as soon as you pick it up :( This is why you shouldn't put 3 full cups of cheese on a pizza hutt pizza :(

That sounds awesome...ly bad. WTF is with all the novelty pizzas any more? When I was a lad, the novelty was in the mascot (ref. The Noid and the Little Caesar's "Pizza! Pizza!" guy), not in the pie. Nowadays it seems like it's hard to get a good old fashioned pizza any more without getting crazy cheesy cinna-swirlies thrown at you.

Little Caesar's around here has had this permanent promo of a Hot n Ready pizza: a cheese or pepperoni pizza that comes in large for only $5. They cook these all day and keep them warm so you can get a pzza and be out the door in 2 minutes. It's the only pizza place worth going to and the price justify the well... price... when it comes to Pizza Hut, Dominos, or Papa Johns, I'm sorry but $12 and $13 for a single pizza is not cost effective, and nine times out of ten, I'm not feeling the limited time only style pizza (LOL THIRTYFIVE DIFFERENT CHEESES WITH DIPPIN SAUCE ON THE SIDE DAWG) that they have. Oh and if you have one in your area, do NOT sleep on the BBQ pizza from Cici's. A large is onlt five bucks and the BBQ beef on the pizza is killer ^_^

Cant say that I've had it. I dont eat red meat.

King Arthur at Round Table FTW.

I always used to get XL king arthurs all the time before my girl's bro quit working at round table. Haven't ate it in like a year though, and I've only truly bought it just once. Round Table is too expensive.

Theres a local chain here called Chanellos. My room mate works for them. They have this pizza called Alexander The Greek. From the website: "Opah! Freshly made dough brushed with virgin olive oil covered with fresh spinach, roma tomatoes, kalamata olives, onions, feta cheese, and mozarella. We then lightly season the pizza with basil, oregano, and garlic to make it perfecto!"

It may sound good, but trust me, its truly awful. They've had it for a year and it doesn't sell for shit really. No idea why they keep it around
