Okay, here's the story. I've had a mildly decent run on eBay selling games and other products. I pay my fees on time and have mostly positive feedback. The people who have left me negs still got full refunds, so that's not much to be worried about. Unpaid item disputes and Item Not Sent disputes I've always resolved either by paying for the item or issuing a refund. My paypal account is clear and there's no real reason that I should be suspended.
This is what I got when I was suspended:
Subject: Important Collections SJC Notice: Your seller account has been suspended due to recent Direct Debit reject incident(s) Received: Sep-07-05

Due to the suspension of this account, you are prohibited from using our system in any way, which includes registering under a new account name.

My fees had been paid in full, I owed nothing on the account. In fact, eBay did one on me because they tried to withdraw 0.00 funds to pay a 0.00 account, the bank rejected a 0.00 withdrawal and eBay put two $15 direct debit rejection fees on my eBay account: so I gave in and paid the fees I was charged for the rejection and waited until my account was reinstated. It never -was- reinstated. I sent emails after emails until I finally got this on Novemeber 21st.

I let more than a week pass and nothing happened: no reactivation, no further emails, my account was still suspended. At this point I sent eBay two more emails, one quoting this message. I received no reply whatsoever. I then tried emailing the suspensions address directly, no reply either. I sent an email through their site, no reply either. Finally, I decided to call eBay's hidden customer service number: on the phone they told me if I didn't get an email by Friday [I think it was the first Friday in December] to call again. I called again, not getting anything, and was told to simply wait for a reply, that I should get one in 24 to 48 hours. I didn't get anything in 3 days so I sent another email. 2 more days passed, I sent another email and called, got the same response. The next day I called again, and thought I finally got help: someone told me they would email me and fix my account. I did get something in my email, this is what I got:

What the
?! Nothing to do with reinstating my account, I waited 24 hours to be told to send ANOTHER email. I called, CS was closed, they told me to do "live help", so I went ahead and tried it, I had never done it before..maybe it would help

Your chat session started.
Joshua: Hello, thank you for coming to eBay General Support Live Chat. My name is Joshua, how may I help you today?
[email protected]: Hi. I have been attempting to contact eBay for the past month and a half. I have sent emails, talked on the phone, and nothing has been done to help me. My account has been suspended for sometime now. On Novemeber 21st I received an email from eBay stating my account would be reinstated in 2-5 business days. My account never was reinstated
Joshua: I can understand how frustrating this must be for you, however since I am only general support I am unable to assist you with a suspended account.
[email protected]: Okay, then tell me
[email protected]: who in the world can help?
[email protected]: I have been told to send emails, they NEVER get answered
[email protected]: Over the phone they can't do anything, they say they'll "add notes to the account and increase the priority of the issue" and they NEVER do anything..
[email protected]: On Tuesday an agent transferred me and simply hung up on me...it's really getting on my nerves..sorry for the tone..but I was hoping to sell for the holidays..
Joshua: It is okay, I understand why you are upset as this is a very time consuming thing for you.
Joshua: However, what you were told to do is correct, the only way to get help with a suspended account is by emailing in.
[email protected]: So why don't they answer them?
[email protected]: Even after more than a week:
[email protected]: Or more exactly
[email protected]: I DID get an email from eBay, from CSR
[email protected]: saying my account would be reinstated in 2 to 5 days
[email protected]: but it never was
Joshua: Okay, I would suggest emailing in again now and seeing if this email will get any answers.
[email protected]: and all I keep getting is "send an email, you'll get a reply", a week passes and I don't get a reply, and they say "Send another email"
[email protected]: I've sent more than 5 emails in the past month, this isn't a lottery or a raffle, it's a business..I simply want answers. Is there a supervisor or account management official I can speak to
Joshua: As I have already stated the only way to get assistance with this issue is by emailing in. My supervisor will tell you the same thing as we are only General Support and can not handle issues such as suspensions.
[email protected]: See what I mean? I HAVE emailed in several times, never getting a reply, what makes you think I will get a reply?
[email protected]: And I can't even post on discussion boards or live chats to talk with other members that might have an idea what's going on. The account wasn't even suspended for any valid reason: eBay tried to direct debit a bank account when I owed $0.00 in fees
[email protected]: the bank rejected it, a charge for 0.00, and they suspended me for a Direct Debit incident
[email protected]: I realize you are general support, but are you not able to contact anyone higher up in the eBay structure?
Joshua: I know that this is frustrating especially with you not receiving any responses as of yet, however this is the way that you will need to get help with this account.
Joshua: As General Support I do not have the power or resources to assist you with any suspension issues.
[email protected]: Okay, thank you, it's not your fault that I can't get an answert, thank you once again.
Joshua: I am very sorry that I could not be of more assistance with this issue.
Joshua: Thank you for coming to eBays Live Chat. Feel free to come again if you have any more questions. It was my pleasure to assist you today.
You ended your chat session.

Once again, the same reply. I quickly sent another email through their system, the email is as follows
-
Topics > My Account > Suspended Account Information > Suspension Appeal
Message: I am very upset right now. After an entire month of emailing eBay, calling eBay, and addressing my issue as many times as I can, I have not received one response: no action has been taken whatsoever in order to help me. My account was suspended for a direct debit incident that occured when my bank rejected a direct debit for 0.00: my fees due were 0.00 and ebay suspended me for not being able to withdraw funds.
I also had some issues with paypal that needed to be resolved [refunds] and they were all resolved: my Paypal account is in the clear again. However, eBay has done nothing to reinstate me for the all important holiday season: I can't sell or buy, which severely hurts this time of year for me and my family.
On Novemeber 21st I received an email from eBay customer service stating that I was to be reinstate in 2 to 5 business days: I never was reinstated and eBay did nothing to notify me of such matters. I was told by ebay customer service to attempt to contact ebay once again. However, nothing did happen.
I plead, no, I demand an answer. After sending various emails and not receiving a single answer, after contacting live chat and phone customer support, and being told to send another email, and not getting any sort of reply, I am beyond frustrated. I am thankful that ebay exists and offers such wonderful services, but my experience with customer support is rather frustrating.
Please reinstate my account so I can at least have a week before Christmas to sell and buy. I need to be on eBay. I have relatively good feedback and have always paid my fees, so please, help me.
Sincerely,
Sara Usagi

More than a day has passed, still no reply. it's already the 16. I can't buy Christmas presents. I can't sell to make some Christmas money. I can't even post on their own message boards. One of my friends posted for me on the eBay discussion boards and I got a few elitist replies from some eBay drones..I mean..respected members, that I was suspended simply because of my "bad track record" and that eBay didn't want my business anymore.
THERE'S BOOTLEGGERS, CON ARTISTS, AND CRIMINALS WITH PERFECT RECORDS: POWER SELLERS. THERE'S PEOPLE SELLING STOLEN MERCHANDISE, FAKE ANTIQUES, AND COPIES OF PAINTINGS AS ACTUAL ORGINALS. I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE "EBAY DOESN'T WANT YOU ANYMORE" FROM SOME LOUSY 40 YEAR OLD WOMAN WHO SELLS BEANIE BABIES.
Ebay hasn't done a thing to reply to me, if they didn't want my business, they could at least take the time to email me and say "
OFF, WE DON'T WANT YOU ON EBAY ANYMORE"
If any of you have any ties with eBay, if any of you work with eBay, if any of you know someone who works with eBay, if any of you have any pull with eBay, or if any of you have gone through something similar: PLEASE HELP ME. Advice, opinions, anything.

There's me, I think it's a relatively good records, 90% of people that had a transaction with me are pleased: there's tons of "WOW! FAST SHIPPING! GREAT PRICE"...why does eBay always try to shaft teenagers and young adults yet 40 somethings can sell 10000 bootleg Disney DVD's and get invited to eBay conferences to get awards and cash prizes?
