Man, the "play all" joke on the DVD has to be the most annoying thing ever. Whoever thought of that should be shot. I always use Play All for my DVDs and the fact that it is taken away for a lame ass joke is really stupid.
 
Same for me. Especially for a show where the episodes are only 10 minutes long!

I must admit...I thought it was pretty clever though.

If they had had a porper "play all" included as well, I wouldn't have had any problem with it. As it is now volume 4 seems broke as hell because of that stupid idea. I'm glad I got it as a gift instead of getting it myself.

Each episode plays in a tiny little window on the screen, all at the same time. A cute joke, but annoying when you realize there's no proper "play all" mode.

I, too, was very frustrated by this.

When you push the play all button it does not play all in normal size. I don't have the dvd and don't watch the show but that would piss me off. I like when I'm watching box sets to hit the play all, and when I hit the next button it skips the theme song and entrance and goes straight to episode. I forget what its called but you know what I mean. I hope
 
Yeah, why the hell are the episodes so short? I started watching my Volume One today and they seemed a lot shorter than they are on TV. Am I missing something here?

Although, I haven't watched ATHF on Tv for a while.

The play all joke seems funny, but would be annoying if you use that feature. I don't, though, so I won't be/aren't disappointed. I don't have this set though, at least not yet. I just have 1-3.
 
You're in front of the TV, you have a remote, there's no big deal.

It's just you. Nothing was altered to make them any shorter.

I frequently watch DVDs while doing other things around the house, to have background noise. I do the same thing at work. To me, it's a bother.

Seriously, what the deal? It's not like season 4 is uniformly good that you'd want to watch all of them in sequence.

Agreed. That's the main reason I don't understand why they didn't have a real "Play All" feature. It couldn't have been that hard to include both. The fact that it is a standard feature in every other show I can think of makes it that much more stupid.


In general, Williams Street seems to be more arrogant than usual anyways.

They were only longer on TV because there were commericals during the episodes., They havent been cut or edited in anyway.

There aren't commercials during ATHF.
 
I never used the Play All on any cartoon dvd. Even with anime I go to the specific episode.

I wish they had included the three freaking episodes they call a season. Even if it meant delaying the set for a month or so that'd make it worth it. I love the boost mobile episode.

I think it's because they air 2 episodes in a half hour slot. Plus the commercial break between them, makes them seem longer (I guess?)

Agreed. I don't use "Play All" that often but without that option it does feel like something's missing.
