Best way to store N64 carts?

Agreed, those plastic cases are the best way to go (plus they hold the game manual as well), but they can get pretty expensive. I'm always on the lookout for some cheap ones to hold the rest of my collection.

If you have a big cartridge collection from any system, you may look up Universal Game Cases. They are similar to what was posted above, but cheaper individually. You do have to buy them in sets of 100 though, I think I paid like $30 or so for mine. They hold pretty much anything that came in a cartride except NES, although you can still use NES with modification.

Loose, on the floor no less, and near your N64, also should be stored on the floor. Bonus points if you have pets who aren't potty trained and like to mark ownership on things you write your name on, you know, like Nintendo cartridges.

These things are built like tank, you can chuck them across the room full force 90 MPH and it won't do a darn thing to them. Why would you store them in some special case?

I just use these hard plastic cases from the Nintendo Power Power Supplies catalog from way back when. You should be able to find them on eBay. They fit the instruction manual and the game itself.
