First of all, I need a good deal on this program. It is pretty sweet, and I want the full version for cheaper than their website has it for $39.95. However, my second question is are there any better programs then this (possibly for cheaper) that other people use? Thanks in advance.

I have the full version of this program and I love it. It is very easy to use. THe only way I know of to get it cheaper is to download the trial and if you put in your email address you get 10% off or someone could give you their key and that would unlock it, but I won't so don't ask. I have paid for the full versions of Movie Collector and Music Collector also. They are awesome programs.

I did find a 10% off coupon if you supply your email while installing the trial version. However, $35.95 for a collecting program is a little too much for my cheap ass.

So I can't "borrow" it huh? All jokes aside, is there anyway to buy this from a store? If not, I might just buy the Game Collector for now. For those of you who haven't tried the trial version, just hit up http://www.collectorz.com, and download whatever trial versions you want. Thanks for your help.

I'll have to vouch for its coolness, It is a great program. I do wish it was cheaper thou, but since I got it as a gift along with the ComicBook Collector the price didn't bother me =P

There are some things I do wish they would make better, Like there export to Web stuff. But hopefully some day they will get around to making that stuff better.

As for alternatives. There's IGN =/
Truthfully the only alternative I can think of is on the Mac front and that is 'Delicious Library' which totaly ROCKS. Sadly it was also $40. But it at least Did Movies, Games, Music and Books all in one. Unlike collectorz.com which is $40 each.

Is that comic collector program any good?
Does it give updated prices?
Does it allow you to add new titles?
The website for comicstracker.com isn't working is that a real program?

Sadly Up-to-date Priceing is one of the features it doesn't do.
I really can't recomnd Comic Collector all that much, It lacks alot of the features the other programs have. Like accessing an online database to grab all the info and a cover shot for the books you enter.

Comic Collector You have to input all the info manually, While Game Collector all you have to do in enter the game name and it downloads all the info about the game and a shot of the box.

I just found Delicious Library but it is a Mac only program, I will check out MediaMan, and I think I might just continue to use IGN.com (I think GameCrazy or GameRush has one too) until I save up some money to plop down on Game Collector. Unless anyone has any other suggestions.

What is the best comic collector program?

I think I'll try mediaman, since its free. It's nice to be able to put all this info together. I have a pretty big book collection going. I guess around 300 to 400.

So gay! After I buy the damn thing, they end their relationship with All Game Guides. Ouch. Wondering if I should get a refund now.

[quote name='t65will']Try using Mediaman, it's a pretty good free alternative.

Is there a way to sort your games by platform in this? I just installed it and added a few Xbox games but I don't see anyway to sort or even view the platform in the item list pane. It has that info in the details pane, but that means you'd have to click on ever title to see what's what unless I'm missing something.
