Costco return policy

i once returned a opened eye toy with game and they took it.... the Costco near me don't let you go get the same item or exchange it with other item, so they just gave me cash..... but this might have been cuz i told them that my eye toy was broken, and it was....... so..... maybe......... later i just didn't buy it.... kept the money.....

Costco is very generous when it comes to return policies. They once even let me return an unopened cd player that was discountinued (they had a different package with an updated model), and got back cash.
Can anyone confirm if Costco allows you to return opened games or movies?
I have no idea - but I do like the little logos in your signature.

and Costco lets you return opened Computer packages because they want their customers to be satisfied, which is excellent compared to other retailers who only do the 90-day thing.

Effective November 4th, 2002, Costco Wholesale’s desktop and notebook computer return policy is six-months from the date of purchase. After six-months from the date of purchase, all service and technical support will be subject to the applicable remaining manufacturers' warranty.

I used to work there ...

and as long as your a member they take it back if you are unsatisfied. a recipt always helps but is not necessary. Good Luck!

Oh and im not too sure about games and dvds, i worked there like 6 yrs ago. some policies may have changed.
In my experience, Costco will take anything back without any questions. Just be sure you've got a receipt.
Hm, that puts a damper on a situation if you lost your reciept.

yea for most stores, chains, once the movie, game is opened you can only exchanged for the exact same copy of course.
