Costco vs Costco.com Prices

Nukem945

CAGiversary!
Does anyone know if the prices advertised on Costco.com are for products foudn in their stores? The reason I ask is that I want to buy some Nintendo DS games, to play once I get a DS Lite. I noticed that DS games are usually a couple bucks cheaper at Costco.com than stores like Wal-mart, Target, etc.

New Super Mario Bros, $32.99
Brain Age, $17.99
Mario Kart DS, $32.99

If they're really that much, I wouldn't mind just going to the store and picking them up all at once.

I saw Brain Age for that price over at my local Costco.

Usually when there's no big sale for a game at Fry's or anywhere else(and I really want to play the game and I can't stand to wait til the price drops), I pick up the game at Costco because it's always a couple bucks cheaper than the retail price.

Does Costco actually price drops their games? I saw some older titles there with the same new game prices. For example, Black Hawk Down with a $45 price tag.

Sometimes, but it is incredibly rare, as I have only seen it literally happen with two games over two years. If you want to know, they would be F-Zero GP Legend for the GBA, which was originally for 26.99, practically never sold, and for some reason, stayed on the shelf where it was eventually marked down to 13.99. The other was Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, which was marked down another 20 dollars or so.

As a general rule you will see games at approximately $5.00 less than list price. For example, I recently picked up Metroid Prime Hunters and New Super Mario Bros. for 29.99 at the Brick & Mortar Warehouse.
