Well you could live in Pennsylvania and just go drive to where they live, it's not like cars are forbidden. Besides they have craft shops and fairs where they sell rather nice hand made furniture.
 
I havent seen many straight up Amish girls (I guess I'm not close enough to Lancaster) but I've seen alot of Mennonite girls and they all seem to be pretty cute. Weird but true.
 
I'd just be careful of the girl's father. All of those traditional societies tend to be very overprotective of their daughters. The only exception are the Mormons of course. They send their 13 year old daughters to be a man's fifth wife.
 
Lancaster is pretty close to me. It's a nice area. Many people go there for the day to shop and whatnot. Not for me. I cant say I dig amish girls...

I grew up in York, PA. No, you don't want to date an amish chick. They aren't even close to being hot. The one on Witness starring Harrison Ford is a poor representation of a typical amish chick. Trust me.
 
They did a show about Amish people going to LA - the problem with all the Amish chicks was that they'd never worn makeup, most had the snaggletooth, and away from their uniforms they dressed from the bargain bin at Walmart.

When the show tried to glam them up, they looked like cheap whores with too much perfume and slutty clothes.

Oh - and they didn't know how to act in a city setting - you never think about that as a skill, but if you saw the show you'd see what I mean.

Just kidding, seriously, sooner or later Amish girls return to their close minded world views, unless you seriously see yourself converting to their lifestyle and religion, I suggest you avoid it completely

There are lots of mennonites in TN, not the same thing, but close enough. There are 7 billion people in the world, more than half are women, surely you must be able to find a non Amish girl you like

However, if for some reason you are in love with one, and there is truly a deep, genuine connection, who am I to stop you? If your intentions are pure, there is a chance the family would be rational enough to accept her departure, after all, they DO give them the choice.

I will add though, they let them explore the real world, trusting they'll quickly return to the Amish life style.

However, if you want an "Amish girl", without the Amish part, just date a Christian girl who doesn't go to church anymore. She'll have the relatively same, home grown, pure girl next door type, just very open minded and very fun to be with. Mind you, she will always be thoughtful, kind, warm hearted, and a little more moral than most girls but that won't stop her from being a total slut.

Personally, I think God is going to slap them upside the head several times for lacking common sense and not accepting technology, science, and all the wonders of his modern world. God likes video games, that's why he gave us thumbs...= )
 
they do have the option as I remember to go on holiday or season or something where they can be normal and whatnot. There was a show on A&E about it.

But Yea I see a lot of amish people. There is even a store called the Amish Buggy where they sell tons of Amishian Homemade Furinture. Very Nice Stuff.

Speaking of Amish. I wouldn't mind tring out what they do on a dialy basis for like a week. I bet it's a ton ofwork though. Too bad im lazy :(
