CAGiversary!
Lol, just got this email from Gamestop concerning one of my orders and I don't believe I've ever seen it posted here. I ordered multiple copies of one game but they canceled the order on me.

Note: nowhere in the item description did it say that it was limited to 1 per customer.

Dear Valued Customer,

Our records indicate that you placed order number xxxxxxx with us at GameStop.com or EBgames.com. Thank you for your business.

Due to the supply and demand for this item and the limited quantity we have on hand and a current limit of one for each customer, we will not be able to process this order for you at this time. This has resulted in the cancellation of your order. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We appreciate your business and hope you will continue to shop with us.

Best Regards,

xxxx
serves you right
yES BECAUSE HE EVIL HOARDER, HE SHOULD BURN IN HELL!!!!

Or maybe Tony208 should quit being an ignorant douchebag and shut the fuck up.

Really, what is wrong with him ordering multiple copies of a game? Explain.

nah, it's a decently rare wii game, and after doing a quick search, it's pretty obvious that it's not very much in demand on these forums so I'm pretty sure im not hurting anyone ;)
Just curious how many is "multiple"?
I ordered 3 but there were still more in stock after I ordered. :(

Don't ask me why, but I've ordered 2 times from Gamestop, and both times they cancelled my orders. First time because I was shipping to my work address rather than my billing address (I live in the hood. Only a fool has stuff shipped to their home so UPS can leave it at your doorstep.) Second time (i added my work address to my credit card acct), they called and wanted me to verify my order for some reason. I did, giving them address, etc, etc, etc. Then that same night I got an email saying my order would be cancelled unless I contacted them to verify my order, but that I should ignore the email if I had already done so. Two weeks went by w/o the order, so I pulled up my order info, and sure enough they cancelled it eventhough I had already verified all of my info. So, I will NEVER order from them again.

I agree. Unless the game was advertised as '1 per customer' to begin with, I don't see the harm ordering 3 of them. In fact, if I come across a good deal on, say Amazon, where I know I can pay for my own copy by flipping a couple more on ebay, then I will. Everybody has the same opportunity, so it's not like I'm breaking any rules.

So what game was it? The more you avoid this question, the more I'm thinking GS was justified in the cancelation of your order.

I really don't see why that matters. As soon as he posts the game, GS is going to go OOS and then eBay prices will plummet because stupid hoarders that lurk CAG are going to sell the game only to make $1 on it when they could easily sell it and make $10. Keep the game secret OP. If people really want to know, then how about they research game's price/value?

Had that happen to my GOW3 I bought the other day. Needless to say, I was kind of annoyed, but it's whatever.
its going to people on eBay who want to play it more than you because they are willing to spend more money. DUUURRRR.

people want to play it argument makes no sense because they are getting resold to people who want to play them.
