CAGiversary!
from gamespot.com

First, the good news. GameStop has put up a product listing for "Fusion Frenzy 2," apparently a spell-check-ravaged sequel to the Xbox launch party game Fuzion Frenzy. Microsoft Game Studios is listed as the game's developer and publisher, but the first-party party game curiously carries a decidedly third-party price point of $59.99. The game is currently tagged with a November 1 ship date.

I can't wait, just hoping it's $39.99

While I hate Fusion Frenzy with a passion, I do think that Twisted System is the best thing ever. If this game has that mini game in it... I might have to think about buying this.

With online play this time, YYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Edit: What will the Achievements be?

i have been waiting for this... i used to play the demo that came with HALO original day in and out drunk, high or loaded.. i will be picking this title up... although i hoped it would be a XBLA title it will probly be better like this... imagine a 16 player party online? i can wish cant i...

That's just what I was going to say. Twisted System was almost a religious experience. You hit the point where your mind forgets about identity, the world, reality, everything and only focuses on Twisted System.

I used to play the first for hours with 2 of my cousins. Our favorite game was the American Gladiators rolling ball one where you had to knock each other off the edge. I'll definitely be picking this up!

Here's the press Release:

Microsoft announced today that “Fuzion Frenzy 2” will make its way to store shelves in the United States this holiday. Published by Microsoft and developed by Hudson, “Fuzion Frenzy 2” is a party game for Xbox 360 set in space that combines futuristic arcade action, superior mini-games, tournament modes, and custom tailored games with online features such as multiplayer and customizable tournaments.

Players are able to create their own unique tournaments that can be shared on Xbox Live while building achievement points. Radical themes and characters utilize the visual HD technology of the Xbox 360. Gamers can also use tournament cards that are either won or given out to defeat their opponents in rank, select the next mini-game to be played, or choose their next destination planet.

“Fuzion Frenzy 2” offers a variety of 40 mini games that a wide audience can play. Players battle new tournaments on seven different planets by competing in games such as the Collision Collusion, Turbine Jumper, and Super Slam Dunk which is a advanced slam dunk shootout played in low gravity where players try to steal the ball from their challengers to score a slam dunk.

I have never ever been so happy with any other console than my beloved XBOX 360 :D

I don't get it. Do I get to slam dunk?

I mean, Collision Collusion and Turbine Jumper are self explanatory, but I wish they'd at least give us a hint of what we'll be doing in Super Slam Dunk.

Loved this game on xbox...twisted system and sumo....finally now its online and you can get wasted and play this one all night long!

Fuzion Frenzy 2 official
Hudson working on 360 sequel to Microsoft's original Xbox party game; game to hit stores this holiday season.

Earlier this month, a GameStop product listing for Fusion Frenzy 2 for the Xbox 360 showed up on the Retail Radar. Today Microsoft confirmed that its original Xbox launch title Fuzion Frenzy would be getting a sequel after all--and a properly (or improperly, depending on one's perspective) spelled one at that.

Fuzion Frenzy 2 is set for release in the US this holiday season and will feature 40 minigames set on seven different planets, as well as online multiplayer matches and tournaments. Players will be able to use "tournament cards" they've earned for a variety of purposes, including selecting the next game to be played or choosing the next planet to go to.

Microsoft will publish the game, but it is entrusting development to Hudson. Well known for its experience with the party game genre, Hudson counts hits like Bomberman and Mario Party among its past titles.

It seems Fuzion Frenzy 2 won't be the only party game to hit the Xbox 360 this holiday season. According to the Web site of original Fuzion Frenzy developer Blitz Games, the studio is currently working on a secret project it describes as "an exciting new suite of 'pick-up and play' action games for Xbox and Xbox 360." That project is also due in the fourth quarter.

As I posted in the other thread... this game is being made by Hudson, the designers of the very blah Mario Party games, so my interest level has dropped.

What ?

I have all 7 of them and love them all equally and will keep buying any and all sequels. FF2 is going to be great!

As much as I dislike Blitz Games, I cannot deny Fuzion Frenzy was a good game, just needed more.

I like Hudson and all, but I don't like their approach to Party games (Sonic Shuffle and Mario Party games come to mind).

who cares about fusion frenzy 2...the first one only had 3 good mini games....twisted system, sumo, and that tag thing where you try to get rid of the bomb...every other minigame sucked...not trying to be a hater here but if you want to get ff2 because of the 3 minigames i listed...you might as well buy the first fuzion frenzy for xbox and not waste $60 on the 360
honestly..fucking search before you post threads
Fookers....I got beat on the official by a few hrs..gimmie a break the OP was based on a listing, and it wasnt even on page one till it got bumped up today....either way who cares

twisted system, sumo...only 2 and you could play them right off of Halo as a demo...lol

This game is easily one of my favorites on the Xbox. Twisted system and sumo were stellar minigames. Combine this with coming games Fable 2, Halo 3, Forza 2, Gears of War, and the rumored PGR3 Xbox Premium Bundle, and I'm in. It's a great time to be a gamer!!! :)

well there you have it...there is no need to buy any more fuzion frenzy game...no matter how revamp they are doing to the game:drool: ...it'll still have all the same if not similar games as the first...

get Wariowarez for GC instead...

agree. The only weak party game hudson made might be sonic shuffle
Beside's me who's picking this game up this week? I'll be picking it up today if I can find it.
I might pick it up I have some gift cards for Best Buy. I let you know if I get it.

Let me know how it is. I may pick it up later in the week at BB.

Totally disappointed...You cannot play online with 2 or 3 players on the same box. It only alows 1 player per system to go online against 3 others. Played with my sister vs CPU oponents and the minigames are fun but the players seem very cheap. Also playing this way only the first player can obtain achievements. I'll try to go at it online later tonight and post impressions of the LIVE aspect of the game.
Didn't GameSpot give this a 4? I just looked at the review, and it's a 7. The review itself doesn't even a ring a bell.

I wonder if they changed it... and why?
I thought that was IGN that gave it a 4.......
nope nmv IGN gave it a 6......ok now I thought IGN gave it a lower score than that.......maybe they reviewed an early copy of it and now rereviewed it..........
