Are there any games for the DS that allow for drawing. Like a paint program or something. My little girl is getting this for Christmas and was wondering if they have any games that would fit this profile. She is already getting the princess games and such but was wondering if this type of game was available. Thanks for the help.

Try Clubhouse Games if you have two DSes. There aren't any paint programs that allow you to save drawings. Pictochat is included one very system for free which is essentially drawing.

Yeah I know about pictochat, They really should come out with a program that allows for drawing like a paint program or something. It would be great for kids. It would probably be extremely cheap to make as well. And we do have 2 DS's so I may try that Clubhose Games, thanks.

Pac-Pix allows you to draw Pac-Man, I think, but that's the most I can think of at the moment.

As stated above, Pictochat comes free with every system but it's really nothing more than a blank notepad where you draw whatever you want. Great to use as a chat room if you have more than one DS, but kinda useless otherwise.

I'm really suprised they haven't revived Mario Paint for DS yet.

I got Pac-Pix for $1.99 at Sears and it is a great game. You basically draw Pac-Man and he springs to life and starts chomping away. Another cool drawing game is Kirby Canvas Curse where he is essentially a ball floating in air and you guide him by drawing lines and walls to move him in various directions.

If your little girl has been a good girl, I suggest the above games. If she's been a so-so girl, get her an Etch A Sketch. And if she's been naughty, get her some crayons and some scrap paper.

I don't know, as a kid I always enjoyed crayons/paper over Etch-A-Sketch.

thanks for all the help, now I just need Nintendo to get off their ... and make a mario paint game. The DS just seems like the perfect device for this type of program. She is only 4 and loves Nintendogs I just thought something like this would be a good way to kill some time in a car trip.

Pac-Pix for sure. I loved it and played it straight for 3 days. She'll love it.
