Hey Cheap Ass Gamers... I need some advice!
My PS3 died yesterday. I was playing GT5 and my Blu-ray drive crapped out (no longer recognizes any discs). I did some research and it seems that this has happened to more than a few people (fat PS3 bluray drive broke while playing GT5). So I've decided its time to buy a new slim model.

$299 and it comes with two games and an extra DS3 (if you look at the link you need to click the special promotion to see the extra game and DS3). The problem is, I don't want either of the games and I don't really need any more controllers as I still have my old controllers.
So should I just go for this deal anyway, or would I be better of waiting? Does the PS3 ever go on sale on boxing day? I know you guys will know more than me so I thought I would ask before making the purchase.
