green zubat

i found a green zubat while playing pokemon soul silver and im just wondering if it has any special abilities or anything.
i use it but i dont see any difference compared to regular ones.
does anybody know WHY its green or if it does have some special powers or something
 
It is a shiny. There is a 1/8000 chance to encounter a shiny pokemon. It is only differently colored. Consider yourself very lucky! I've played pokemon for over 500 combined hours between my games, and I've encounters 2 shinies in the wild!

Next time you should post your questions in the Pokemon thread. We are very friendly there!
 
Diamond was the first Pokemon game I ever played. I was a few hours in and just got the old rod, so I went fishing.

Caught 2 or 3 orange Magikarp and killed them. Then I caught a gold one... and killed it.

I had no idea then what a shiny was and I haven't seen one since after hundreds of hours of play.

That must have sucked.
If it's any consolation, you can easily catch a shiny gyarados in SS/HG.

The first shiny I obtained was when I bred Corsola. It's a light blue color if I can recall correctly.
A friend of mine got a shiny Combee... too bad it was a male. lol
My best shiny is my Uxie.
I was SRing for a good IVed Bold one, then the shiny popped up.
Fortunately it was Bold, but the IV's are meh.

Yup I caught the Red Gyrados in HG already. It took two years but the wound has finally healed. ;)

As I got a Shiny Zubat from the GTS today, I've been paying attention to its evolution. When it becomes a Golbat, it's wings are pink. I guess in the final evolutionary form, it's just...enveloped in pinkness... :whistle2:s
 
If you go to Seribii and look up a pokemon the one on the right is its shiny form.

I think ill trade it away to someone that wants a pink Crobat.
