May have been one DDR released in the US (I don't think so/can't recall, though), but there were some in Japan, as well as a homebrew title called Feet of Fury.

As far as I know, DDR games were never released in the US for the DC. In Japan, there were only two DDR games, DDR 2nd Mix and Club mix (club mix sucks, while 2nd mix is pretty good)

There never was a US release of DDR. Konami pretty gave the DC the shaft in the states. Chances are it was some 3rd party boot leg dance mat and some bootleg dance game.

Yeah not a US release mat, possibly a Hong Kong mat though, they sometimes put all english on their boxes. They're weird like that.

Hey, it looks pretty good for something so bootlegged.

The bottom corners are clearly labeled as L and R (I don't think those even do anything in-game) and the top corners are X and O, which are the buttons on Playstation pads, so I'm assuming those are the A and B Buttons on Dreamcast.

Look at all that Engrish. "Dancing Aerobic for your health!" "Now the DANCESTATION can be used for you." "The DANGESTATION [sic] is your best choice for exercise and for amusement."

Did you try it yet? How much did you pay for it? I just use my PSX dance pad since I like to use the PS2 controller on DC anyway, via PS-DC converter.
How did you even know it was for the DC? besides the DC swirls, i dont see where it mentions what system its for.
There's a dreamcast console in the background.

DanceSation.
"It is so simple and so convenient to be used, as well as so easy to be carried for its small cubape."

? :(

Yay Engrish.

If it's the pad I think it is (judging by the boxart it looks like it), that pad is supposedly a piece of junk. I haven't used it myself but I read reviews of it years ago on a DDR site and people said it is made of plastic and cracks easily.

I don't think i'd use a "dangestation" whatever.. It's probably from Hong Kong or Malyasia (i've bought *ahem stuff* from places like that before and yeah cheap cheapo crap) the dreamcast was huge in hong kong (espeically for pirates and the like) that I would expect it to be imported from there.

one more little tidbit i found...dont know the accuracy though

This is probably the hardest accessory to find for our beloved Dreamcast. They only came out in Asia and had to be imported at great expense. Not only did they cost a small fortune, but because of their weight, so did the shipping. These are the rare Dreamcast Dance Platforms. Not to be confused with the vinyl mats that were so popular, these are a full inch thick and are of pretty sturdy construction. When fully assembled, they are to "regulation" Dance Dance Revolution size and all the panels light up as you step on them, just like the arcade.

Sweet guys for the info...

I have yet to put it together as its been a busy weekend.. I will do that and post some more pics..

I figured I would bump this thread... I put it together for the second time last night and all seemed to work ok. I dont have a dance game to test it on or a PS to DC converter to try it with a PS2 game... Yet all the steps light up when you step on them and it registers the steps as button presses. Thats the extent at which I tested it.

No cracks it goes together easy enough and feels pretty solid actually.

I am thinking I should put it up on ebay? Whats everyones thoughts?
