Has anyone tried opening an account on the Hong Kong PSN?

I recently started looking into this and apparently the HK PSN is in english and after a bit of preparation and possibly small fees from your bank, you can use a US credit card to make purchases. I have heard that the HK PSN has a lot of the PSOne games released on the Japan PSN.

If you have an HK account, have you tried purchasing?
Are there any PSOne games on the HK store that are in english or at least playable without translation?
Are there any issues playing the HK PSOne releases on a PSP?

I opened a Hong Kong PSN account in January 2009. I used a US Visa credit card and was able to buy Everybody's Putter Golf with no problem whatsoever.

However, now when i try to purchase from the HK Store, it won't allow me to use my credit card any longer. This is a Playstation Visa with an enormous credit limit that is paid off every month. I can only assume they stopped allowing this practice.

The Sony/Playstation credit cards are run by Chase (not Sony). I use mine frequently as a filter when paying for things to run up the rewards points.

Otherwise, many of our members have found eBay sellers that deal with foreign PSN cards so that may be an option for you if you're interested in persuing.
