I know this can done, I remember someone posted about it. I am trying to search for a item that is Out of stock online and trying to see if I could find it in a store nearby using their Inventory checker.
Basically check the inventory of a IN STOCK ITEM and replace that SKU number(Sku ID) with the Out of Stock item Sku Number, and it will locate the out of stock item in a store near you (very helpful)
