How rare is a squaresoft FFX?

does he mean before it turned into square-enix? was it released under squaresoft and then under square-enix? cuz i have the squaresoft non gh version (if their are different versions)...either way, im doubting its rare
 
There are actually 3 different versions of FFX(packaging wise). The GH version, and two regular versions. One under Squaresoft and one under Square Enix. The Square Enix version is considerably harder to come by as it was short print right before the GH style packaging was implemented. But it still ain't worth anything.

Maybe in the future?
 
im saying the non GH one that was made at release when the brand was still squaresoft because now it is a GH and the company is now known as SquareEnix
 
hello excuse me!?!?! what do you mean SquareSoft FFX!?!?!?! FFX is created by SquareSoft! is there other illegal copies of FFX!? it is not rare of course, it should be only :shock:
 
Rare? Hell no! They sold over a million when it came out originally in that Squaresoft packaging. There are actually less copies of the GH version out there right now.
 
It sounds like the Square-Enix non-GH version is the one to have, as it was produced only in limited quantities (less than the Squaresoft one) and is no longer in production. Good thing I have it. :)
 
if you have more foresight than most, including me, keep a sealed original FFX, SquareSoft or Square Enix, but non-GH, and it'll be worth a good bit in a few years.
