if i Like Tekken and DOA will I like Guilty Gear X2

I see this game is only 20 bucks. im not great at fighters but i enjoy them. im not a big fan of 2d since everything is 3d most of these days.


however this Guilty Gear x2 game looks sweet it looks like your playing a cartoon.

if i like tekken and doa is it worth getting or should i just wait for DOA U and Mortal Combat.
 
Guilty Gear is in no way similar to Tekken or DOA. If you don't like 2D fighters, then I doubt this will convert you.
 
So this game is a lot harder than, say Street Fighter? How is it more difficult? I'm also considering it, but am undecided.
 
Guilty Gear games are very good and very difficult. If you love 2d fighters and are good at fighting games, GG is for you.
 
In Guilty Gear X, its hard to know whats going on at any given time. Some of the regular attacks look like a Marvel vs Capcom team super on crack. But it looks damn good, especially with it getting pro scan. Sucks that it got pushed back another week or so.

So, no.
 
If you like things that are awesome, then you'd like GGX2.
If you like things that are shitty, like Tekken, then you might not ;)

I agree with that. Tekken sucks. Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution is good, but 2D fighters will always reign supreme.
 
I may get it, I never got around to getting the DC version. I like fighting games and since I missed out on the DC version should I make an effort to get the xbox version ?
