Ok, someone from the UK won my auction for an item that was a US only auction, as I hate to ship overseas. Now, what do I do? I tried contacting the buyer, but no response yet (only has been a few hours). How would I get my credit back?

Also, how much is shipping to the UK if I do ship it? Can you get delivery confirmation on something like that?

Why didn't you restrict your auction to US only? If the auction was on ebay there is an option for that during listing. As far as I know USPS doesn't offer USPS delivery confirmation for International services. The only thing similar to that is a "return receipt" (http://www.usps.com/international/intlspecialservices.htm#H4) which the recipient signs upon delivery and gets return to you via postcard. Shipping rates depend on the weight with the cheapest method being First-Class Mail® International for $13.25. The other is Priority Mail® International starting at $16.00. Don't make the same mistake I did as documented in my Canada shipping fiasco.

I filed a MUTUALLY cancelled auction dispute basically. I DID SAY US ONLY IN MY AUCTION. The Buyer is apparently not smart, are dumb.

Hopefully he responds soon....as soon as he mutually withdraws it, I can offer to the next highest buyer.

Idiot people.

i sold to bidder in the UK after he begged me to be allowed to bid on my Marvel Legends auction...after researching his auctions and feedback i allowed him and he won if for $551 and had no problem paying the $175 it will cost to ship over there via USPS...it was around 45 pounds total

I think it is actually very easy to get your credit back since he is from another country so you should have no problem there
